2DUB se iniciou como uma experiência e paixão por um estilo musical impar: o dub! O gênero jamaicano surgiu no final da década de 60, quando engenheiros de som passaram a fazer remixagens de músicas gravadas, explorando efeitos sonoros que remetem a uma atmosfera próxima à estética pisicoledista. Em 2007, Riti Santiago funda o 2Dub em parceria com o baixista Bruno Xavier, e começam juntos a fazer bases autorais. Em 2008, convidam Samuel Mota para assumir as guitarras a teclados, e surge a formação que vai além do estúdio, para os palcos. No início de 2013, o grupo grava o DvD Dub Central, com participação de 11 artistas de peso da cena musical candanga, como Ellen Oléria, Dillo D'Araujo, Digão (Raimundos), dentre outros, tendo suas músicas em versões elaboradas pelo grupo. ROCKADUB foi o projeto seguinte do 2DUB, onde a banda fez versões de grandes clássicos do rock como Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Ramones e vários outras bandas e artistas. Atualmente o 2DUB esta finalizando o dvd Dub Central 2 - Grandes Mestres do Brasil - fazendo seqüência da serie Dub Central. Nesse trabalho, o 2DUB chamou 9 Instrumentistas de Brasilia para juntos revisitar canções de grandes mestres da musica brasileira como: Luiz Gonzaga, Gilberto Gil, Novos Baianos, Mutantes, Raul Seixas e vários outros! Musica brasileira+reggae+dub +instrumental definem esse novo trabalho! Disponível em todas as plataformas digitais em marco de 2018

Riti Santiago é baterista e produtor musical conhecido no cenário nacional por sua atuação no Grupo de Rap CAMBIO NEGRO. Bruno Xavier tem seu talento registrado pelo país através da banda de reggae,JAH LIVE, onde foi baixista e compositor. Atualmente, fundou a banda Nova Raiz, que já lançou seu primeiro CD. Samuel Mota é multi-instrumentista e produtor musical, também foi integrante da banda JAH LIVE, como guitarrista solo e compositor. Passou por vários grupos na cena candanga, faz parte do grupo Funkeando e Muntchako. Ativo na cena reggae de Brasilia desde 2002, Jacob Bruno passou por algumas bandas e em 2006 começou a cantar em riddims/versões com soundsystems. Marcelo Pahl e baterista da banda Nova Raiz mas ja atuou em varias bandas de Brasilia como Brazucas, Innatura, Jah Live e também gravou vários artistas da musica reggae
Mesclando bases e programações próprias, com atuações ao vivo, o 2Dub veio para enriquecer o cenário nacional e popularizar o Dub, que passou a ser mais do que uma forma de remis, e sim um novo estilo musical.

Ivan Marcio is responsible for an achievement: in two years recorded two albums in Chicago with the guys there. It is the First Brazilian bluesman to have this privilege.

The friendship was consolidated and the project of producing a disc in gringa too. In Mecca the blues were almost thirty days playing in bars and most famous blues festival in the world, the Chicago Blues Festival.

The second time, a lot smarter, not only spent less, earned money as gigs at Wind City. The second record came in partnership with Jon McDonald, accompanying guitarist Magic Slim a few years ago. Break, got that Jon produced and sang on the CD sound.

The "Chicago Sessions" have different footprints. At 13, Ivan Marcio began his career playing small bars ABC of São Paulo, and at age 18 had a short stint by Arts Foundation of São Caetano do Sul, where he studied harmony / theory, inserting the knowledge the harmonica. He graduated in Pedagogy and worked as Music Teacher at the São Bernardo do Campo in a Social Project forming more than 300 youth in five years.

For 20-year career has played in several festivals in Brazil and abroad, and has more than 10 albums recorded in the genre highlighting the albums recorded in the U.S.: Chicago Blues Sessions Volume 1 and 2 Brazilian Blues Bash, where also signs production.
