Andy King came on the scene in 2002 with residencies in Glasgow, being billed alongside big headliners such as John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, and Carl Cox.  He took time off from the decks in 2008 to focus on producing his own tracks.  He now has an impressive number of productions in his portfolio, many of which have been met with great success.  With his return to DJing alongside producing the music he loves, this is an artist who is headed in the right direction.

The title track of this EP is simply one of the best melodic tunes we've heard in a long time.  Paired with an exceptionally strong B-side, it was a no-brainer for us to sign both immediately.

Having worked on hundreds of productions over the past decade, Noel Sanger has earned his reputation as a scene legend and pioneer of Progressive House.  True to form, he delivers yet another peak-hour anthem with his remix of Sativa.  It's no wonder that he's regularly tapped to create club-worthy beats alongside dance music's biggest names including BT, Tiesto, and Markus Schulz.

With over five years studio experience, Steve Haines' strong support and recognition from the industry's leading figures have firmly cemented him as an emerging talent in the EDM scene and a producer who always delivers.  His remix of Celeste is a progressive tour de force that takes the listener on a sonic roller coaster of epic proportions.

The 46th release on Suffused Music sees the return of DJ Borra to the label. Bobby Nikolov aka DJ Borra hails from Bulgaria and first appeared on Suffused Music with his remix of Anton MAKe 'Vera' which was released in March of this year. Bobby has been a main stay of both System and OLD SQL Recordings in recent years. The Bulgarian producer's fresh blend of funky rhythms and trancy melodies is quite unique and it continues to earn him fans across genres. His debut single for Suffused Music is entitled 'Until I Fall Asleep' and it features the vocals of Britt. Electronic music fans are always drawn to well produced vocal tracks that don't necessarily fit into one particular genre. If you look at tracks like Satoshi Tomiie's 'Love In Traffic' it was a production that so many DJs played because of how good it was and because of how broad it sounded. 'Until I Fall Asleep' is a similar production. The tracks delicate framework is meticulously produced and the wispy vocal gates and soft harmonies give you a hint of what's coming early on. The spacious bass stabs carve out a wicked groove and once Britt's silky smooth vocals drop in the goosebump moments are plentiful. Borra's tasteful musical themes complement Britt's angelic vocals perfectly and the endless string of interwoven harmonies is positively divine. It's the most club friendly and accessible track Suffused Music has ever released and the selection of remixes courtesy of Andrees and Yakoff, Digital Department, Gvozdini, Napalm and d-phrag and The Element are exceptional. Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint has remained on the cutting edge  since its inception in 2011. The Belgian imprint has not only featured some of electronic music's most tried and tested names but it's also been instrumental in showcasing undiscovered talent.  The label prides itself on nurturing up and coming producers and has already launched the careers of Antti Rasi, Daraspa and Matias Chilano. Sound Avenue's 48th offering is not only presenting a new artist to the label but also the world with the debut release for an exciting new producer from France by the name of DENT. 
DENT's love for the contemporary deep house sound currently championed by labels like Innervisions certainly shines through in his productions. The rugged grooves and organic textures of 'Tanzanite' are fresh and inspiring. The records looming atmosphere coupled with vivacious rhythms and a unique sonic scope make it immediately captivating. It's post modern psychedelic design is particularly evident during the main break, where a collage of trippy electronics and imperceptible vocal elements build intrigue for the records second and third acts. DENT's distinctive motif then evolves in an eerie and utterly compelling manner until a glassy harmonic overlay brings the piece to an exhilarating peak. 
The companion piece 'Lapis Lazuli' finds DENT reaching even further into his studio repertoire. Backed by a sequence of billowing bass swells and a band of rolling rhythms the dance floor sensibility is sky high from the outset. The subterranean groove lays down waves of powerful momentum while a series of lead hooks just adds to the infectious swing. Long haunting sweeps along with fluid hypnotics complement the thunderous groove and push the proceedings forward to the main break. The nearly one minute interlude showcases a gritty electronic wail which furthers the emotional content and sets up a smooth and soulful finale. 
An outstanding debut EP from DENT who you'll most certainly be hearing a lot more from in the future.

Oliver Lieb is a new artist of our label, it doesn’t need any introduction. He has more than 250 releases since 1989 year on his pickback. He is absolute professional from Germany, who recently proved his top level in sound with remarkable record ‘Epsilon Eridani’ on Bedrock. 
The Mode B project from Ukraine is a part of independent German Label “Back Home” and it’s imprint Klangwelt under the ownership of Ryan Davis. Mode B masters of his techno. Remix is dull and ductile, by means of branded sound of this project and emotional background. Tech dance floor paints in Oliver Lieb remix and Mode’s B melodic techno structure remarkably fill up this story.

Next up one of the most awaited return by one of the most impressive and captivating producers out there to date. Hailing From Spain, we welcome back non other then FindRemix' Head Honcho, Diego Iglesias

Step Back is his latest and as per usual a unique result of a labor of love as only he can deliver.  Its the magnificent attention to detail he put into the layering of his poly synth arrangement and a driving bass line that will just suck you into the intricacy that is his creativity, adding a soothing female vocal line that is quite fitting, this original will promise to make you wanna dance the night away from start to finish.

On remix duty we bring you for this occasion a group of power house producers that will further "elaborate" the mood brought forth by their original counterpart.

Alessandro Diga tones things a bit down in his "Stappje Terug" Mix by exploiting the vocals in a deeper feel for his arrangement with the use of some unique space effect and a more organic Bass line and a much tension building melodic structure.

Next, Luis Bondio whom along with Cesar Lombardi ad a Nu-Tech/Progressive Tech version by incorporating a glitch bit factor and some tech percussive bits, whole still staying true to the original in their melodic structure of their mix.

Finally, in his first label collaboration, we find non other then Soulwerk whom bring forth a more forward marching progressive house with a very soothing yet groove driven melodic arrangements with its selected polysynth sounds and a steady bass line reminiscent of an old school Deep Progressive House production.

The 25th release on microCastle sees John Graham returning to the label under his much loved Quivver alias for his first single and a follow up to his Monaque 'Dos3000' remix from July of 2010. He is best known as Quivver, but has invented a host of other monikers, including Space Manoeuvres, Stoneproof, Skanna and Tilt, each representing a different shade of his eclectic production sound and each giving an idea of his true versatility.  John first came to our attention all the way back in 1994 when we heard his 'Twist & Shout' for the first time, a vibrant and electric style of energetic house that was fresh and undeniably cool that still sounds great now 20 years later. 

Over the last several years John has further established himself as one electronic music's most versatile producers. With releases on Bedrock, YoshiToshi and Toolroom. As a vocalist John has collaborated and written electrifying songs for the likes of Hybrid, Planet Funk and also Darren Emerson’s exciting new project ‘The Low Highs’. As a DJ, John has traveled the world and performed every conceivable hot spot from Glastonbury,UK to Pacha, Buenos Aires to Asia to his enviable residency at the notable Twilo, NYC to Avalon, L.A. Quivver's first single for microCastle is entitled "Here's This' and it comes with remixes from Marc Marzenit and Alexander Kowalski. 

John's original mix is most certainly one of his most infectious grooves to date;  unmistakably Quivver with a momentous roll and gargantuan swing that should have your entire dance floor moving in unison.  Complete with an eerie vocal stab, dark grungy chords and airy, incandescent pads 'Here's This' is one of John's most accomplished progressive techno crossover tracks to date. 

Spanish producer Marc Marzenit returns to microCastle for his second appearance and provides the first remix on the package. Marc's first appearance on microCastle was his remix of Monaque's 'ID' which turned out to be one of his most sought after productions in 2011 and his 'Here's This' interpretation looks set for a similar fortune in 2012. Marc's delivered a contemporary monster of a mix with waves of clattering drums and pulsating bass tones which form one of the Spanish producer's most devastating grooves to date. Metallic coated keys,  big menacing sweeps and gyrating vocal swirls create an undeniably hypnotic environment that is utterly intoxicating. 

The final interpretation on the package is provided by the Berlin based techno DJ / Producer / Live Act Alexander Kowalski. His DJ sets and live performances have been making waves throughout the electronic music underground for their tough techno sensibilities, deep harmonies. Alexander has been awarded the titles of best producer, best live act and has been a two-time nominee for the German dance award.  His Damage Music imprint has been one of our favourite labels over the last two years as well so we are thrilled have him on this project. Alexander's 'Here's This' interpretation might be his darkest and most menacing studio creation to date.  Rolling beats, dark electronics,  vocal gates and a grinding momentous groove all combine for an unrivalled apocalyptic vibe that is not for the faint of heart!

A rising star from sunny California, DAVI's recent work has found it's way into record boxes of everyone from Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed to Nick Warren and 16 Bit Lolitas. Another year has come and gone, and we have decided instead of doing a special anniversary release or landmark 100th release extravaganza,  we thought it fitting to deliver to you a Special release for the end of the year. A year where we saw the departure of many of our friends to pursue further their careers and opportunities by venturing into new paths, as well as  the arrival of some freshest new talent with new attitudes and innovation in production that just outright blew our minds. 

This year also saw the growth in it of itself of this brand which for three hard working year sought to set a mark in the progressive scene, adding the likes of Oscar Vazquez at the helm, his input help fine-tune and further shape the label into what it has become and where it plans on going.

Because of all these relevant and changes we still are strong on remembering where we came from, who brought us here and keeping this in mind we decided to further reminisce while embracing the present and future at the very same time.

That all being said under the direction of Grumpy (LQD) & Oscar Vazquez we compiled some of the past productions of the Liquid Grooves early years, both known and less known and decided to have them refreshed and updated by having them remixed by the artist whom have been solidly contributing to the shaping opt this brand and some who you will be getting familiar with in the coming months, but as previously stated we cannot forget the ones who have forged the brand into what it currently is and so some of these names have taken time from their busy schedules to also part take in this very special compilation

RMXD Vol.1 we hope it to be the start of an annual tradition where we can all reminisce on what we hope are some of the memorable productions from some very special and innately talented Progressive House / Progressive Tech producers
