Ivan Zharov is a full power techno house DJ hailing from Ukraine. Born in Dnipro in 1983, he has been passionately involved with the minimal/house/techno scene since 2004.
It was love from the start and from that very beginning there was no turning away from the music and vibe that electronic music has. The first set Ivan played in 2004 in a
legendary Dnipro club “The Dam”. In 2005-2006 Ivan Zharov became an official participant of the "Kazantip" festival. In August 2005 was invited as the unique representative
from Ukraine to the annual festival “South West Four” (London, England) to play minimal techno music. Played at one festival with such grandees as: Carl Cox, Sasha and John
Digweed, Luca Bacchetti, etc. Upon his return to Ukraine, Ivan has started to compose the music. In the course of work Ivan became a true hunter, collector and expert of
fashionable synths sound.
Together with Cris Amarante and Lencom Promo took part in organization of an open-air festival at Kyiv (Ukraine) aircraft museum. Played on one stage with the western stars
Dub Taylor, Tiefschwarz, P.Toile.
Ivan cooperates with such labels as BPitch Control (Germany), MX-Entertainment (USA), Stoneflow Records (Ukraine), works with modern sound at big clubs, playing electronic
music in an innovative manner.
