In 2015, his prominence rose further with Been You, a featured bonus track on Justin Bieber’s GRAMMY-nominated Purpose, a record that shattered commercial precedents with over 210 awards worldwide. Purpose was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards. The album won the American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Album. To promote the album, Bieber gave several televised interviews and performances, as well as releasing dance videos for all of the album’s tracks in a project called Purpose: The Movement. Furthermore, Bieber embarked on his Purpose World Tour in 2016, which was his first concert tour to perform in major stadiums worldwide. Also in 2015, Mr Borghetti produced Imaginándote by Reykon featuring Daddy Yankee — a landmark collaboration that would later be certified RIAA Latin Platinum on December 13, 2018, under Warner Music Latina — further cementing his ties with two titans of the Latin urban movement.

In 2017, he secured chart success in Italy with Polaroid (2× Platinum), performed by RIKI. That same annum, under the alias FRNDS, he released a globally celebrated remix of 2U by David Guetta and Justin Bieber. In 2018, Mr Borghetti co-produced MIA by Bad Bunny featuring Drake — the first Spanish-language track to ascend to No. 1 on U.S. Apple Music. Certified 5× Diamond by the RIAA and lauded globally, Mía peaked at number five on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Bunny’s first top 10 single on the chart as a lead artist and Drake’s 26th. The song also topped the charts in Spain, and reached the top 10 in Argentina, Canada, Colombia, El Salvador, Greece, Panama, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland and Venezuela; as well as the top 20 in France, Italy, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The accompanying music video was released alongside the single and passed the billion view mark on March 21, 2020. The track’s parent album X100PRE garnered the Latin GRAMMY for Best Urban Album and It was ranked number 41 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Best Debuts Albums of All Time and number 447 on the list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

That same year, he contributed to Taki Taki by DJ Snake featuring Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B — an international juggernaut that amassed over 3 billion views on YouTube and became one of the most streamed Latin hits of all time (10 billion). The track was prominently featured in FIFA 19, performed live at the American Music Awards, and garnered an impressive array of global accolades across both Anglo and Latin markets. While not released as a single, the ballad garnered significant attention across Latin American streaming platforms, contributing to the album’s streaming success. CNCO went on to receive Platinum (RIAA Latin) and Gold (Mexico, Argentina) certifications, and the project was recognized with industry accolades like the Billboard Latin Music Award for Latin Pop Album of the Year and the Latin American Music Award for Favorite Pop Album.

In 2019, Mr Borghetti was a contributing producer on China, the multi-platinum hit by Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Ozuna, and J Balvin — an ambitious reimagining of Shaggy’s 2000 classic It Wasn’t Me. The song originated in 2018, when Mr Borghetti and DJ Snake, fresh off the global success of Taki Taki, co-produced the original demo that would lay the foundation for the final version. Produced alongside Latin GRAMMY-winning producer Tainy, China debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs and quickly rose to No. 1 across multiple charts globally, including Spain, Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia. Its genre-bending fusion of reggaetón and EDM, interpolations of Ella Me Levantó by Daddy Yankee, and infectious club energy helped China peak at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 and chart in over 20 countries across Europe and Latin America. The song has since become a landmark in Latin urban music, praised by Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Jenesaispop, and credited with cementing the dominance of collaborative super singles in the global Latin market. On the radio airwaves, China was the second most-played song across Latin America for the week ending August 4, 2019, with 6,797 spins across the 19 countries measured by Monitor Latino.

In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, he partnered with Anuel AA on Nubes Negras, from the Billboard-topping EMMANUEL album. Surpassing 8.4 billion streams, the album achieved Platinum status in the U.S., Spain, Mexico, and Gold in Italy.

Later that year, Mr Borghetti produced Antes Que Se Acabe by Bad Bunny — the fifteenth track on El Último Tour del Mundo, the first Spanish-language album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It was crowned Best Urban Album at both the 2020 Latin GRAMMYs and the 2022 GRAMMYs.

In 2022, Llorando en un Ferrari, produced for Anuel AA’s Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren, topped charts across Latin America. That year also saw him arrange and produce Starlight for K-pop sensation Dreamcatcher, whose album Apocalypse: Save Us was praised by TIME magazine and earned Mr Borghetti a Golden Disc Award.
