Ivort - Unstable (EP Preview)

Track info: Ravana is my personal favorite track of the EP. It was made after the three other, and was not intended to be on the EP initially, but at the last moment Sensient and I decided to include it ! This one is clearly more dancefloor oriented, with punchy drums, and epic tribal vocals, it works really well on dancefloors !
Fun fact: It was one of these tracks that write themselves, I did it in something like one week...

FEATURING REMIXES BY MANMADEMAN AND GNOMES OF KUSH

Sideform are Drasko and Milos and are from Belgrade.  The first release on Tip from Serbia and its a goodie.  The Serbian Psy Trance scene exploded in the early noughties and all artists came back talking of the incredible energy and passion at the parties.  So we are very happy to have our first act from one of the great new(ish) Psy countries.  Both have studio engineering backgrounds and are audio freaks.  This is a quality production that represents their take on things.  Great depth and atmospherics with a a laid back arrangement that leads to a powerful conclusion.  A band to watch if you weren´t already!  

Then we have a fabulous remix by Gnomes of Kush who bring a  very alternate take on it.  A  more direct, minimal, techy feel with a great punch and a monster kick.  Groovy and very infectious.

To finish off the package there is a ManMadeMan Remix of another Sideform track called "Destruction" originally released on Prog On Syndicate Records.  It does what ManMadeMan do in their typicaly UK fashion and draw the funk out into Psy Trance...adding a very danceable slab of juiciness to this EP.

There is also a bonus track on full release.  An alternate mix by ManMadeMan.

This mix was recorded to celebrate 5000 plays on one of EGO-T mixes on SoundCloud. He asked his followers on Facebook what they would prefer and got a very split answer between doing a slow mix and a more intense mix. So EGO-T decided to go with the more intense first and do a slower next time.

Ego-T (Zenon records) is Tobias Engqvist, born and raised in the small town Västerås in the middle of Sweden. He´s been active as a dj since 1999 and is one of the most respected dark progressive djs in Sweden. Signed on Zenon records 2009. After being signed by Zenon and getting noticed by international promotors he has started shaking dancefloors around Europe as well.  Festivals as O.Z.O.R.A. (Pumpui), Freqs Of Nature, Psychedelic Circus, Transylvania Calling and Swedens only legal psy/progressive festival Genesis Festival.

He is also the founder of party organizations as “Nexus Nimbus”, “The Wicked Crew” and also the club “Club Demented” in his former hometown with his very close friend Mikael Kalliomäki. Currently located in Stockholm and in full focus on a new project called “Spontandansens Främjande”, a organization created by a bunch of close friends with the same mental disorders, focusing on Progressive and Zenon-style events.  Besides the interest in parties, music and grooving, Tobias is an audio engineer and got a diploma degree from SAE Institute. 

You can be shure that this ego will give you a real journey into the deep world of Zenon records. Dance, trance and release the ego inside of you!

Atacama: Since their very first psytrance parties more than ten years back in time the Berliners Kevin Hentschel and Rafael Gomez never stopped experimenting with electronic sounds. Alongside multiple excursions into various sub-genres, own label activities and many open air- and club events the two friends concentrate since 2012 on the production of driving psychedelic trance music. After some releases in Spain and further mindblowing experiences while playing large festivals – such as the Fusion Festival – the two musicians re-invented their sound – and themselves – as „Atacama“. Sometimes mysterious, always complex and preferencial driving Atacama carry off their listeners in spheres between bygone experiences and oncoming promises where myths and reality, rhythm and movement merge into a cosmic unity.

I tried to write it like you would progress throughout a videogame level, with a cutscene at the middle of the track (the breakcore part).
