DJ Nonfiction orchestrates Episode 73 of the Gangstercast. A 10 year resident at the world renowned club Focus in Newport Beach, and a regular addition to the LA underground warehouse scene. An established producer who has remixed for Cajmere, Green Velvet, Colette, Miss Honey Dijon. He also has Vinyl releases on Robsoul and Bump Music (Australia), and several digital releases on such labels as Cajual, Relief, Robsoul, Farriswheel, Lost My Dog, DJ Sneak's Oomph Recordings, Candy Music and more.

When speaking with Nonfiction we asked how this mix represents him as an artist and he answered, “this mix represents a lot of my influences and different styles that I like. Some of the new stuff, some of the older stuff, and then some obscure music that's a little more ‘left field’.  I like lot's of different sounds and styles of music, and this 2 hour mix encompasses that.”

CM014: Junior Sanchez & Man Without A Clue - The Big One

4th of September sees German DJ duo Drag & Drop offer up their debut EP for Mar-T’s renowned imprint, Wow! Recordings, entitled ‘Natura’.

Dynamic duo Drag & Drop first showcased their talents through a number of well received sets at German venues/festivals such as Cocoon Club, World Club Dome, Kater Holzi and at Frankfurt’s Tanzhaus West, where they still hold a residency.

Since then, they’ve bought their eclectic style of House, Techno and Dubstep (a sound they describe ‘Techstep’) to crowds in all corners of the world, also continuing to release several stellar productions on labels such as Draft Recordings and Monique Musique.

‘Techno Safari’ kicks off the release, a probing Tech-House track that combines a gorgeous percussive melody with edited vocals, glowing keys and numerous ‘safari’ inspired effects over its six minute duration.

Closing the EP is the title-named track, ‘Natura’, a deep-groover featuring hypnotic vocals, squelching synths and vibrant percussive elements that really shine during the track’s timely breakdown midway through.

‘Natura’ EP is available exclusively via Beatport on 4th of September and everywhere else two weeks later.

German duo Luca Secco & Craftkind have been lighting up the scene with an illustrious release schedule. They return to Daylight Robbery hot off their impressive contribution to DRR046, with their remix of 'P.I.M.P.'. Two original tracks with groovy drums, rolling bass and energy building vocals, scratched in a strong homage to the roots of house. Remixing this package is the fast ascending, label boss of Rawsome Recordings, Greco (NYC) as well as Netherlands duo ENGELHART.
