Born Kadeem Middleton March 22, 1991 on the east side of the Peninsula City of Charleston SC, YPJ Grams came up in what as known as the Yellow Projects to him and his peers before his music career started at the local Boys & Girls Club rec center where he started making music in a studio sponsored by the internationally known band Hootie & The Blowfish. Thru this sponsorship YPJ Grams sprouted to shows in during the cities live events such as the Moja Art Festival, the Spoletto Art Festival, and opening acts for the Reggae Band Toot & the Miyans. Debuting his first mixtape Therapy on 04/20/2017 YPJ Grams is set to have some smash follow up singles and an industry level EP to release during the summer months.
