The third chapter in On Board Music’s The Meaning Of Time compilation series takes a different approach. The label engaged its community with an open call for tracks, and then tasked its core, established artists with remixes of each. The resulting, 22-track offering is a sublime snapshot of modern ambient and deep techno, showcasing the label’s richly talented roster and an exciting next generation. As with the previous compilations, all proceeds will be donated to Sea Watch and the important work they do for the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean Sea.

Previously during the first national lockdown Third Son wrote, mixed and mastered his debut album in 20 days. Watch a short Stamp The Wax documentary on the work here. Following on from this remarkable achievement, Joseph has been going back to his early music collections that informed and inspired his work over many years, making his own re-imagined interpretations of them to form a new body of work called Retrograde.
Released in June, the covers span a broad church, from electronic, to rock, to minimal piano and ambient. The LP will be accompanied by a short run of tapes, the medium mostly used by the artist in formative years. The album was produced from his home studio in London.
“Over the last year I’ve been listening to key music from artists I’ve always gone back to over the years. The songs and pieces that still grab me after 100 listens. I slowly made my own interpretations, which kept me occupied during the drudgery of lockdown. We all need a project. I ended up with something for all settings, the sitting on the floor in the lounge listen, the kitchen disco listen and even an optimistic club listen.” Third Son Over his short but intensely packed musical history Third Son has been meticulously honing his craft and sound and has received accolades and spins from a huge cross section of the industry to include Maya Jane Coles, Michael Mayer, Anja Schneider, Jackmaster, Jasper James, Kolsch, Dark Sky, Terr, Lena Willikens, Moscoman, DJ Boring, Sasha and many more. As well as this he has seen praise from household publications such as DJ Mag, Mixmag, Beatport, Future Music among others. Following releases on Dusky's 17 Steps and Matthew Herbert's Accidental Jnr, 2021 is a bumper year with the artist releasing on Shall Not Fade, Unknown To the Unknown sub label Soft Computing, Disco Halal and Permanent Vacation. This plethora of names is testament to Joseph's ability to continually stay ahead of the curve and keep the listener guessing.

We’re happy to announce Stavroz’s first EP on Moodfamily: 'Silent Spring'. Having already released on labels such as Bedrock, Wired and Délicieuse Musique, the Belgian band is ready for their highly anticipated follow up, delivering an EP ready for sunscreen and ripe for the picking. 

In the title track, frivolous bass guitars accompany a broadly shouldered melody and gently carry the track to glory while a snug piano hides in the breaks, building a beautiful contrast. 'A Great Day to Fly a Kite' brings horns straight from miles high, happily intertwining with a ruthless groove, pushing the atmosphere and delivering a quirky impact on the dance floor. 'Should've brought an Umbrella' graciously closes the EP with a touching - and at the same time organic sound.

Hernan Cerbello is back and presents our 60th release on 
"Twin Town Production" which will be released worldwide on June 30, 2020. Congratulations!

The four trackers "EP" with the name "Free Forms" ties in seamlessly with his deep house release (2018) "Fruits of the Hills". 

The new tracks are a "MindTrip" for the soul and a stable thing of waves that pushes your mind into calmer waters and lets it flow to decelerated movements in the flow of the beat. We all need time right now and this sound also allows your body to dance with relaxed feelings.

Hernan already made his way into the Champions League in the mid 2000s due to his tricky producer skills and his first-class sets in the deep, tech & progressive area, but last but not least he shines with his professional and friendly manner.

He started out as a DJ, played mainly in South America, Mexico and the USA, was a booker for big festivals and events and shared the turntables with the most talented and renowned DJs of our planet for over 10 years.
Then he went on to release his solid productions on labels like Anjuna Deep, Armada Music and TP Low Pressings, which he may call his own label. He extended his skills to the whole music field and worked as a teacher for mixing and mastering at "Emba" (music school in Buenos Aires) and as an executive producer at "Audiobranders", a music company focusing on brands.
