The sounds of summer are on their way, as French producer Joris Delacroix cracks open a cold one with his newest carefree single, "Early Hours."

The new release sees Delacroix join creative forces with the vocal talents of the Anjuna-approved Run Rivers, whose dulcet tones set the stage for the deep, soothing embrace of the veteran producer's kushy and percolating triplet melodies. "Early Hours" is pleasant as can be, but what makes the single such a memorable release is simply how it presents itself. Where most dance music strives to be as expansive and monstrous as possible, "Early Hours" is tangible and in your face; a finely cut gem that's just an arm's length away. While this approach may come off as a deviating from dance music norms, it's been a defining element in the storied career of Joris Delacroix.

When music producers Niconé and Sascha Braemer get together in the studio you can never tell when another idea will come round the corner. But what we can tell is that their newest production comes from the heart. It’s titled “Myheart” and makes for Berlin record label Dantze’s 48th release (once founded by Niconé and Philip Bader). The EP includes the original track of the same name and a remix by Alexander Gerlach. It may be purchased via <a href="http://www.beatport.com/release/myheart-feat-kimtoo/1314249">Beatport</a> since June 16th, 2014.

Montreal's @JacquesGreene is releasing a deluxe edition of his 2019 'Dawn Chorus' LP via @LuckyMe this month.

'Dawn Chorus', Greene's long-awaited second album, was a well-worth-the-wait exploration into the weird and wonderful emotions and experiences that only occur in those afterglow hours post-rave and pre sleeping in your own bed inevitably at some ridiculous time in the afternoon. Or is that just us?

Anyway, it was a wonderful release in its original form (and well received, too) with Greene confident in his new space and sound, a sound removed – but not completely cut off from – the early Night Slugs era, post dubstep material he released around the start of the 10s. 

But now, with musical pals such as Ciel, Nathan Micay, Lunice, Martyn Bootyspoon and UK producer Fort Romeau drenching Greene's tracks in their own colourful hues, 'Dawn Chorus' grows and shape-shifts both Greene and his songs once more. 

On the menu there's "club primetime house and techno, afterparty warehouse versions, IDM, shoegaze and fully deconstructed ambient" so there's plenty to tuck into, with @FortRomeau's remix of 'Night Service' among the highlights.
