Create + Explore is a conversation between mediums from visual to auditory, providing an intersectional platform for beat-makers and photographers to create and explore the power of artistic collaboration. Each project is created through a process of pairing a beatmaker and a photographer. The beatmaker creates original music and sends it off to the photographer as an impetus and inspiration to generating a pictorial exploration. This process links two of our most indelible sensory experiences through a photographic interpretation of original music.

Tayi Bebba is a conceptual work that manages to balance a highly cerebral concept with making some good old-fashioned bangers. Tayi Bebba is an album tour of an imagined island; each song representing a location, event or ritual. Sonically, it's a fast moving charge across the soundscape, fusing field recordings and found sound with incredibly surgical drum programming. Flavours of house, Footwork and Hip Hop punctuate your migration with a very specific sound palate, giving this amazing work a cohesive feel.

For example the first time I heard Jehst 'Alien' I threw all my lyrics away, 'cos he had raised the bar. Same with Joni Mitchell. I don't absorb music constantly. When something comes along that grabs me it tends to become an obsession. Every track on the mix has at one point been on repeat, warped my mind and made me want to do something differently or better.. Sometimes musically and sometimes just in life in general."

Enjoyed is based in a sleepy town called Soldridge in Hampshire. He makes electronic music; colourful, accessible and BIG.

The tunes come from a love of the House/Italo/Electro background that spawned 90s stadium dance legends Underworld and The Chemical Brothers. Some bring in more poppy song structures and touch on the SMD/LCD/HotChip sphere. Others range across through the Daniel Avery and Fort Romeau’s dancefloor gold into the more interesting end of poppy territory (Sky Ferreira, Charlie XCX).

In the last year, he’s just got better and better and received nods from Rob DaBank, Dummy, Guardian, FACT and more and Enjoyed has reworked Hot Chip, Kisses, TVOTR and Yumi Zouma and, oh yes, Mark Morrison.

He has released a number of EPs and is now working on his debut album. Enjoyed will be playing live this summer.
