I'm beyond excited to publish my first recorded set... which is also my 3rd ever full set! woot woot!!! Music and dancing is my gateway to life's deepest pleasures. I hope you enjoy this set and find beautiful ways to have your own experience with it. Many of these tracks are brought to you by artists that have inspired me on my journey, and will forever be my teachers. I played this set 8p-1a during a dinner event at Kassi Beach House Las Vegas inside the new Virgin Hotel & Casino. 

I love playing for dinner environments because it leaves the opportunity to take your time and blend a variety of fitting music for the environment. 
Through this night I start out with 30 minutes of lounge music leading into a selection of downtempo house, slow afro, electronica, and organic house. I briefly go back into some lounge before ending with midtempo section of varied house.

Spring is returning and more sun light is on the way! I have been craving the company of friends in warmer, sunnier weather and decided to make a mix with that theme in mind. 

The mix was inspired by a golden hour set I played for a Burning man camp fundraiser/party (a.k.a Soggy Bottoms)By Porch Catz last summer. Dove pretty deep into my playatech/deep house tracks for this one.

"I finally got my smooth-DJ fix at Burning Man earlier this month where we took an actual (decommissioned and on-wheels) yacht out into the white open sands and had a great cruise with about 150 people," says Jesse Houk aka The Scumfrog. "I recorded the set and this is the result."

Here is a live recording of my set from this past weekend! Watching the sunset over the river, all my friends behind me, celebrating max's birthday was honestly one of my favorite sets I've ever played so im stoked to share it with you : ) Thanks to Max for being born, thanks to Matt, Liam, & Anton for their musical super powers behind the decks, and thanks to mother nature for providing us with the most perfect day to be on the river lost in nature with an intention aimed towards love and connection. So grateful to have such special people in my life and live in a place with such natural beauty! 

I apologize for the set just coming to an end, I was planning on getting into a whole bunch of groovy minimal tunes but the cops came and shut it down due to noise complaints. We moved the party inside for an after hours set... until they came and shut it down again lol 'twas an epic night.

PSA: All live sounds heard on the microphone (including random noises, a kazoo solo, some hype man vocals, etc) were unknowingly recorded onto the master channel and not done by me. i apologize for any excitement heard over the microphone, it was a very lovely environment with people expressing themselves in all sorts of way! haha
