Another composition recorded before the war. I hope one day I will return to my home studio. Any support from you is much appreciated on these extremely hard times for our country, our family. 
I could have recorded much new music for the last 9 months... unless russians came to our yard to "save" us with their tanks, missiles, bombs and war planes at 4 a.m. on Feb 24th. And yes, they saved us from our house, from our normal life, from our dreams and plans. They saved my elderly parents from their home and peaceful life in retiring, saved my daughter from happy childhood, from school, from her friends and vacation by the sea. We'll never forget and never forgive it! I'm sure that russia will get what it deserves - each rocket they launch on Ukraine will turn to another 10 years of disaster for their cowardly people.

This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. I remember when I first began participating in the SoundCloud community, I would always eagerly anticipate a new GWOTF track, especially because I grew up in Oakland California. This recording is a completed work of Wild Christopher's work "Jolene (Ever Find Your Forever Man)" with my guitar playing. "Jolene" is based on "Let Me Know", one of the "Paploviante Open Collab" pieces.
I received warm compliments and words of welcome from both of them. I am very grateful.I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for including me in their wonderful work.

This work is over 6 minutes long. My guitar playing starts with a low volume and rhythm. About a third of the way through, my guitar starts playing to complement Christopher's great singing.

A few days after the release, he received a number of really excellent works. I was really surprised by the ability of the artists to finish such amazing works in such a short period of time.

After listening to the above works, I realized immediately. Simplifying the scales that form the melody, assuming the case of playing the guitar, it was divided into the case of  Cm/E pentatonic, and the case of  Cm/E and Em/G pentatonic. I thought, ``This is a great exercise for me. For example, putting four songs together on one track, listening to them all in order, and playing the guitar along with each scale is a very useful daily practice. I could imagine that this would be useful not only for myself, but also for most people who are learning to play the guitar.

For example, alternately play the following:
1)Cm/E　Pentatonic scale(Key = E)
2) Cm/E, Em/G Pentatonic scale(Chord = A7,E7)
2) '  Am/C,Cm/E,(Em/G) Pentatonic scale

It's easy to envision it that way, but first, what do I do with the first one? So I started playing guitar while listening to Wild Christopher's "Jolene".
I found it possible to use two chords, A and E7, and finish off with some rock'n'roll backing, but it's too simplistic a way to spice up Christopher's cool and passionate vocals. 

So I took the plunge and tried using the A7 and E7 chords to make a blues rock song. And I was convinced that depending on the way I played, I could proceed without discomfort. An image of the rough blues rock of the early 1970s came to mind. However, I was conscious of keeping the taste of the country blues that was popular before that.

I thought that Wild Christopher's wonderful singing voice would suit slightly rough guitar playing based on precise rhythm composition. A playing style that many great guitarists and predecessors have developed over the decades. I hope that people who come across this piece will want to listen to it again and again :))

Composer/Songwriter. None of my performances on any of my tracks, whether solo work, or collaboration, have any editing whatsoever. Effects and equalization? Of course! But no editing, no software, etc. Quite a substantial amount of these tracks are with The Eclectic Collective. We are like family and have been playing together on a daily basis since approximately March of 2022 as the Eclectic Collective. Before the band bore it's name Eclectic Collective; Josh, Ken, Stephen, Tez, and  CG Maness were doing some occasional collabs. At any given time we are all simultaneously working on about 15 different songs. And when we feel they are done cooking in the oven we release them.
