Es de extrema necesidad reflexionar sobre la importancia que otorgamos a nuestro alumnado en el aula porque de ello dependerá el crecimiento personal y académico de estos. Aquel o aquella docente que trate a sus discentes como meras máquinas de creación y retención de conocimientos, no es merecedor de su puesto en el sistema educativo.

These initiatives can help us as teachers to promote this type of methodology in the classroom, incorporating it into our Annual General Programming. For that reason, a civic alliance is necessary (with educational communities, humanitarian and regional institutions, social entities ...), since the educational center alone would not be able to do so. Then, we will have to think with a community purpose from the everyday; no need to do a difficult project. Let's improve what we do. Some examples:

- A musical concert (typical in schools) in a nursing home. Our students will learn why the elderly are there, what music they like ... We will promote intergenerational dialogue.
- Solidarity Mathematics Days. The money could be allocated to centers with less material for this subject. We will promote the importance of mathematics for any citizen.
- What teacher in the area of ​​Language and Literature has not done a short story workshop? Why are we left alone in its creation and reading? Let's take those stories to the centers where they don't have a corner for the library! We could also take it to municipalities where they do not have many books in their municipal library; introduce them to an adult school ... Ultimately, through the development of a "reader sponsorship" bond, we will make our students understand the imperative need to read and write.
