Verdigris Part One

This is a favorite song of a friend of mine, so thought I'd do this for him. we had a conversation about the way it ended and my thought is that the one that was being left behind asked for Boots, as a way of saying "These boots are made for walking' because its quite obvious the one who is leaving isn't going to miss the one she or he, is saying basically 'good bye ' Anyway this is my humble version of this song and I thank you for the listen and any comment if you choose to leave one. The album plays like a night at a South Bronx community center in 1973, but the “geeks” are crate-diggers, coders, gamers, and studio heads who obsess over breaks, signal chains, and culture history. Each track feels like a different moment of the party: the first needle drop, the breakers’ circle, the mic getting passed, and the late-night cool‑down when only the true heads remain. Sonically it’s raw, mono-to-stereo vintage hip-hop made from funk and soul breaks, with room noise, kids talking, train rumble, and DJ chatter baked into the mix.
