After shaking up the dice across global festivals and club dancefloors last summer, Albion Collective reinvigorates Yoofee’s instant classic, Seek & Move, in a brand-new remix EP featuring Mystic State, Molokai and K-lone.
Mystic State fires up the engine with his remix of Seek & Move, alchemising Yoofee’s rapid kinetic energy into pure steamrolling pressure. The intro mischievously echoes the original, imbuing the
drop with a strike of surprise when Mystic State’s stripped back, sub-loaded weapon fires in place of the classic. Molokai keeps the motor revving with powerful, in-your-face sound design built for the heavy
steppers. Zapping, buzzing, and fizzing robotic delights spark and pop throughout Molokai’s grungy yet groovy retwist of Yoofee’s Seek & Move. K-lone serves up a signature sweet ‘n’ tasty edit of Make You Believe, realigning the original B-side’s focus from its organic soulful keys to its endlessly elevating electronic arpeggiation. What was once
bathed in reverb, serving as a glimmering skyline to the gorgeous memory palace of Make You Believe, becomes the unblurred protagonist bleeping and blooping its way through a high-rise city of
slick trap rhythmics.

Soundsystem lovers got their appetite well and truly whet when Deep Medi announced news of a new @Kaijudub LP — 'Seven Sins'. The dubplate fanatic duo, Jamie Schildhauer and Paul White, have been mining the low end since around 2011, recently signing to the renowned bass/dubstep label for a couple of single releases, but are now offering up their debut full-length. The longplayer sees the pair team up with Jack Gates, Gantz, Total Science and Riya — and if we tell you there's seven (deadly) tracks on the LP, we probably don't need to tell you what they're called. 'Sloth', which we're premiering today, makes use of hypnotic, reverberating drum taps and shadowy vocal snarls.

Teffa pioneers uncharted 140 dungeons in his triple-hitting ‘Toastin’ EP, marking his Albion Collective debut.

Title track, ‘Toastin’, rallies a submersive procession through contemporary dubstep, adorned with golden-age echoes and diamond-edge percussion. Descending into the B-side’s oubliette, ‘Luna’ barks, skanks and growls around subterranean temple walls, where dubbed-out lights and spacious textures emancipate the dance. ‘Gelato’ draws it all back, stalwart sub-bass leading heads down while strict kick-and-snare combos strengthen the sway.

Rarely retracing his steps, architect Teffa builds new tapestries into each vinyl revolution, evolving the vibe across every slice of his debut ‘Toastin’ EP on Albion Collective. Regarding second drops… good things come to those who wait.
