Immature (also known as IMX), is an AmericanR&B/POP group, discovered by record executive Chris Stokes. Its members include Marques “Batman” Houston (born August 4, 1981), Jerome “Romeo” Jones (born October 25, 1981), and Kelton “LDB” Kessee (born January 2, 1981), all natives of Los Angeles, California, where the group was formed. The group released four albums under the Immature moniker including On Our Worst Behavior in 1992 which included former member Don “Half Pint” Santos, later replaced by Kessee, Playtyme Is Over in 1994, then We Got It in 1995 and finally in 1997 released the album, The Journey.
In 1999, the group changed their name to IMx marking 10 years of being a group and released two studio albums Introducing IMx and IMx, and then released a Greatest Hits album in 2001. The group also branched out into film (such as House Party 4: Down to the Last Minute) and television (such as A Different World, Sister, Sister, Family Matters and All That) before disbanding in 2002.
Formation
Immature was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1992 by Marques “Batman” Houston, Jerome “Romeo” Jones and Don “Half-Pint” Santos. Santos was eventually replaced by Kelton “LDB” Kessee (the group’s drummer) in 1993 due to his parents pulling him out of the group. Kessee remained a full-time member of the group. Immature eventually felt that their band name was no longer a fitting description to describe them as people or musicians. In 1999, they changed their name to IMx.
After IMx
In 2002, the group disbanded. Houston and Jones (under the name Young Rome) began solo careers, while Kessee continued his work as a record producer. Houston became the first former member to release a solo album, MH, in 2003. Jones followed suit with the release of his debut solo album in 2004, entitled Food for Thought. Houston later released four additional albums: Naked (2005) Veteran (2007) Mr. Houston (2009) and Mattress Music (2010) Famous(2013).
Houston and Jones have also pursued acting careers, with both starring in the dance film, You Got Served(2004). Houston co-starred on Fat Albert (2004) and starred in UPN‘s comedy Cuts. He also starred in the horror film Somebody Help Me, and Somebody Help Me 2. Houston also appeared as Roger on the show Sister, Sister (1994–1998).
THE ALBUMS
On Our Worst Behavior (1992)
In 1992, Immature released their debut album, On Our Worst Behavior, on September 22. The album featured singles “Da Munchies”, “I Wanna Know U That Way” and “Tear It Up (On Our Worst Behavior)” (which also appeared on the soundtrack for the animated film Bébé’s Kids, in which Houston provided his voice for the character Khalil).
Playtyme Is Over (1994)
Immature released their second album, Playtyme Is Over, on August 2, 1994. The album featured the number one hit singles “Never Lie”, “Constantly” and “I Don’t Mind”.
Playtime Is Over sold over a million (1,000,000) copies, reaching Platinum success. This album catapulted the careers of the young superstars, putting Immature in the company of one of the most successful boy bands in the 90’s.
We Got It
In 1995, Immature released their third album, We Got It. The album featured singles “We Got It”, “Lover’s Groove” and “Please Don’t Go”.
We Got It sold over half a million (500,000) copies, reaching Gold success.
The Journey
In 1997, Immature released their fourth album, which was their last under the name Immature, The Journey. The album featured singles “I’m Not a Fool”, “Give Up The Ghost” (featuring Bizzy Bone) and “Extra, Extra” (written by Keith Sweat).
Introducing IMx
In 1999, Immature changed their name to IMx and released their fifth album, Introducing IMx. The album featured the Gold selling single “Stay the Night“, and other singles “Keep It On the Low” and “In & Out of Love”.
IMx
In 2001, IMx released their sixth, and final, album, IMxon August 21. The album featured singles “First Time”, “Beautiful (You Are)”, “Clap Your Hands Pt. 1″ and “Ain’t No Need” (which also appeared on the soundtrack for the film The Adventures of Pluto Nash).
NOW
Immature is back. With an upcoming album in the works, Immature is working with Award winning Super Producing team “The Underdogs” who recently won a Billboard Music Award for “Chris Brown’s” hit single “Turn Up The Music”.
Also in the works is their nationwide tour set for 2015.

If The Jacksons and The Osmonds are proof of anything, it's that talent is genetic. While debatable to some, one cannot deny that tidbit of information when it comes to Ax2 and Dejah. The brother and sister each come with their own set of pipes, moves and skills. Each a separate entity in the entertainment game, but they don't mind sharing the limelight just so long as they're helping one another reach the top.

Ax2 is a hip hop artist all about delivering positive messages in his rhymes about self-image; something that a lot of people his age struggle with. Oh yeah, he's only 12-years-old. An impressive talent for his age, Ax2 drops rhymes and beats, all while keeping his grades high. The honor roll student also has the bragging rights to say he was the first kid reporter for the Dallas Mavericks. In the flip side though is is 16-year-old sister Dejah. A powerhouse with a great set of vocal stylings - she can rap and sing with all her might as she delivers messages about anti-bullying; something she feels strongly about. Plus, being a part of the dance team at school also makes her a force when it comes to moving and grooving. So they both perform, excel in extracurriculars, and on top of all of that - they're both thespians as well. Both will be making their film debut in this year's Jerico, out later this year.

With a movie in the works and handful of commercials as well, these two just don't feel they have enough on their plates. Each sibling has plans to drop albums this year. Ax2 will release his sophomore in December, while Dejah will put her debut out a couple months earlier in October. More recently though they worked together on "Dance Like A Maniac," which could be heard at Mavericks' home games. They are also working with the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blues dance team at the end of June, doing a video with them with one of their original songs; "Just Dance DCRB.”

This brother and sister each come with their own set of skills and talents, but at the end of the day they're both artists who are delivering positive vibes through their music in a way where people their age can relate.
