Maurice - This Is Acid (J2C Dub)

J2C (Jay - two - see) is an electronic music project that is a result of a clash between the London Underground, and San Francisco Bass music scenes. Headed by Cassidy Martin (San Francisco, United States), and Joseph Duffy (London, UK).

The duo's sound derives from a shared love for RnB, Garage, Early 90s house, and deep vibes. The duo stewed in a sunny bedroom in the Excelsior district of San Francisco for quite some months, in a bath of the influence direct from Chicago, Detroit, London, and Berlin. Through the exchanging of deep soulful synthetic arrangements, J2C was born. The two unleashed the concoction of back to back raw energy at house parties, night clubs, and 4am warehouse affairs to the delight of virgin and veteran party-goers alike. The two shared the stage with house and techno namesakes such as Matrixxman, DJ Assault, 2D Babes, Stay Deep, and Ghosts on Tape.

With their hearts on the past and their eyes on the future the two boys look to expand their tastes, while keeping their ears on the streets.

Ahora Noriega. Como Dj, mi moniker era Pinche DJ, pinchando indie, rock y electrónica, además de múltiples festivales y fiestas. Como freelance, colaboré con ScannerFM y Sónar Festival (Advanced Music) con radio shows exclusivos sobre Sónar de Día y Noche (además corresponsal en medios especializados en música y rock como Quarter Rock Press y La Mosca o DJ MAG) he asesorado a Advanced Music en temas de comunicación. Colaboro con CHOICE que organiza fiestas en Barcelona y me mantengo siempre activo en la escena de la música electrónica y sus noticias y eventos mundiales; así como personas y sellos. Este año he estado en México también tres meses. He trabajado con Manchester Bar y con  Mini Ovni Djs que también mezclan géneros como rock, indie, psicodelia, rarities, punk, 60’s, 70’s y 80’s (en vinilo). 
Como periodista musical poseo gran experiencia. Hablo con fluidez inglés, catalán, castellano y francés. He cubierto el Sónar cinco años, soy músico y artista multidisciplinar, busco dar el 100% e intentar ser ejemplo y todo lo necesario para ser un referente en la escena, en el espacio de trabajo y aportar todos los conocimientos y buena disposición como periodista, RR.PP., estratega de medios sociales y dj residente.  

Writer, journalist, Lo-Fi musician, podcaster. Mixing and creating new sounds while talking about music and attending to great venues as both journalist or dj.

Four years at Sónar, assessment to Advanced Music, 2014, in communication tasks. Writing for La Mosca, La Mono, Warp, DJ Mag, Playground, and several freelancing for ten years.
