Iyeh Short Bio

Iyeh is a live performer, beatboxer musician, singer, composer, arranger & producer from the island of Mauritius. 
His love for music started since he was a child sitting or dancing by the radio listening to music almost all day long.
He always looked up to Micheal jackson, as a performer, beatboxer, singer, dancer, songwriter & producer. cranked the volume up every time there was a song from him.

With a wide range of music influenced form his father who is  an original hippie and soul attendant of Woodstock Music fest. His dad was also a musician, a drummer in his early days. So he did have a lot of encouragement from his dad to perceiver.

With evolution into the years Iyeh discovered electronic music, and that was the turn into his world. From trance, house, ambiant, triphop, hiphop, big beat, drum and bass, garage and so much more the year 2k influences offered.

With the help of his dad, Iyeh released a CD with his rock band in 2000 Ziza. it was an alternative electronic rock band. But the band split due to different mind set.

Ever since Iyeh has been working on solo act as a performer, providing a Live Looping act with beatboxing, Synth, using Ableton Live as a hub creating spontaneous live creation alongside his set of various style of original songs

Iyeh has had the chance to work with a lot of artists along his journey, such as Ernest Weihe, Menwar, Belingo Faro, Daram Taka, Jean Rene Bastien, Jason Heerah, Orchestra of Soul, Kan, Salem, Stephanie Mardi, Dyotbb, A4C, Ticalacit and many more.

He is actually a former member of the KODNWAR Label, promoting the Rap Kreol Competition (RKC) alongside DYOTBB & TICALACIT helping Mauritian artist to promote their art in the Rap scene.

He is now working on his solo album to be coming out soon!!! STAY TUNED!!!
