Propulsive techno solicitations are abounding on Ideoma, the debut EP from Oscean, a collaboration from Sebastián Galante, also known as Seph, and Andrés Zacco. The two are figureheads of Argentina's techno sound, with releases on labels such as Insurgentes, Echocord Colour and Illian Tape over the last decade.

Galante and Zacco join forces for the first time with inspiring effects, moving forward with vast paces, unshifting footsteps, with uneven prisms of electronic rhythm. Its direct intent and crisp sonic detail conjure a cinematic and nocturnal drive, unearthing subterranean pulses that leave all in its wake.

With Ideoma, Tresor Records presents a whirlwind of dense movement and cosmic energy that twists on percussive bends and distorting spirits. Spiral recalls natural phenomena, bound tight, with a rugged texture like no other, as flickers of sound processing suggest lift-off. The flanging Feral exudes a potent demeanour, wicked and unceasing. The ebbing melodics of Spacion hark back to 90s ambient techno and yet possessing a rhythmic cut and thrust that navigates unchartered terrain. Transmuting beyond planet earth, further into the extra-terrestrial, Galante and Zacco mask fractal brushstrokes with hurrying rhythms. They smear primitive and sharp sonics, pressed with dizzying resilience. The nosediving FM synths of Austraal beckon a haunting trip, cloaked in a trance of motion and forever eschewing all prediction.

Diffuse Reality is a label with international presence from Europe to South America, and with over a decade of releases now in tow, has featured artists such as Electric Indigo, Terence Fixmer, Stanislav Tolkachev, Sunil Sharpe, and Arnaud Le Texier.

LSWD is a Tunisian artist returning to Diffuse Reality with his second ever EP release, meaning he has only exclusively released on the imprint thus far, and we are keen to hear more works in the future as he establishes his back catalogue.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Got to Learn" with a rolling and jackin' sound. The electrifying textures pierce the airwaves with a gritty, bending feeling, while the dancing synth notes create a moody vibe amidst lots of atmospheric elements in this raw, uptempo jam.

Anthony Linell's latest suite of tracks cruise and drift with their head up. With a dizzy palette of terse and
winding melodies, 'Sculpting Energy' feels like another new avenue for Linell on his unbreakable run of
EPs.
Drone surveillance-style patterns remain intact this time around, hinting at the unmistakable frozen planes
of his previous works, yet with the opening track there's the smack of bustling heat, as its title 'Therme'
alludes to. The EP's closing piece, 'Vision of the Imminence', presents a familiar sullen theme. Perhaps
the measure of his latest work's difference is in the modulating barbed wire-percussion and birdsongsynths
that wrap the track's cold core?

We are very happy to announce the 13th release of Cabrera with two special remixes from the label boss', J.C., 'Vertigo' record that came out in the summer of 2017. Side A comes with a special Shed rework. Rene is a huge influence for us and we are thrilled to have him on our catalogue. Keeping the essence of the original, he made a proper raw dub techno banger. On the flip side, Kastil, already part of the family, took Nyame in a whole other level and made a fresh blend of fierce techno.

Over the last ten years, Madrid born Jose Cabrera has proved that he has a diverse taste in music, and an equally diverse output. Music that is made for the floor, music that works on distilling techno to is rawest and most core elements and music that aims to hypnotise dance floors with its absorbing sense of mood and groove. 

As well as EP's on labels like Deeply Rooted, Tresor Records & Ben Sims' Symbolism, he has also released on his own labels, J.C. and A Harmless Deed. 2015 came correct with a fully immersive full length, Portrait of the Flying Sky. It was a well received album that found J.C exploring his most compelling techno atmospheres yet. Full of refined grooves, slicks bleeps and bass and subtly spaced out synths, it proved a big success with DJs, dancers and worldwide press alike. 

As a DJ, this well travelled Spaniard is just as accomplished— In 2014 he became part of the resident team at the legendary Tresor club, most often found stitching together visceral techno soundtracks, electro and ambient whenever it is need in order to complete the musical path down which he takes you. Of course, J.C also plays at various other clubs and festivals around Europe and as such is a key part of the global techno conversation.
