JFresh started rapping at the age of 12 but mainly was into writing stories due to English being his favorite school subject. Fresh then met a childhood friend by the name of Darnell Smith aka G.I.D which him Fresh and his younger brother Kerry started a rap group called Madtown and they recorded tracks on a tape recorder at the time just for fun. Later Fresh invested in studio equipment and GID introduced his cousin Joshua Williams aka Rewind becoming an official third member of Madtown and they recorded 2 mixtapes the group promoted on MySpace shortly afta they decided to venture out on their own pursuing solo success. Fresh then made Hotspitta Vol.1 as his first mixtape featuring GID and Rewind on multiple songs as well as other local Houma rappers. Fresh has released many mixtapes as well as a collaboration tape with high school friend Keon Jackson aka Baccatown Slim currently known as SOE Slim During this progression of self promotions and catchy singles Fresh caught the attention of another Artist on the rise Jerry Mitchell aka Rain'. Fresh took Rain' up under his wing molding him into an even greater artist from his already great knowledge of music. Soon after a young spitta name Ruben Diggs aka Deezy and shortly after Rahkim Harley aka Roc now known as Killa joined up with Fresh and Rain' then they started up a self label called Raw Tunez. Deezy Killa and Rain' are considered real close friends of Fresh to where they all call each other brothers.Fresh recently has partnered up with Ernest Gray aka Ernest GQ founder of Ayogang Entertainment in early 2011 and is continuing a very successful rap career with the label and friend GQ.
