STALLIONS were formed in Bangkok, Thailand (in the year 2020) primarily to counter the boredom & isolation which enveloped the world, riding the coat tails of the WuhanFlu. 

The "band" comprises of Mike Morritt (North England) and Niall Jozef Murrey (Glasgow) who bonded over their love of kick arse tunes & living like recluses.

Having both been chewed up. and spat out of the UK Underground House Music scene (Mike / Back2Basics Leeds & Niall / Subclub Glasgow) STALLIONS are rooted in filthy acid house with an elcectic topping of post rock, synth/nu wave, dream pop, dad-rock and indie dance drawing from a wide range of influences (Radiohead, Pink Floyd, John Maus, Pixies, Depeche Mode, Smiths, Midlake, Pumpkins, Gary Numan, Prince, Arcade Fire, Beach House, East 17, War on Drugs, Shins, Future Islands, Perfume Genius, Beatles, Beach Boys and Velvet Underground)

Over the course of a year, at a great cost to personal relationships, and having sustained irrversible damage to their health and wellbeing Mike & Niall (both prolific songsmiths) fashioned over 70 tracks in Nialls kitchen from bits of guitar, poetry, a couple of samples and a drum machine - which was expertly held together with scotch tape, Ableton, cardboard (from the center of toilet rolls) and tin foil.

STALLIONS emerged triumphant (and a little squinty eyed) from the kitchen in December 2021 with 3 albums packed full of world beating songsmithery and pizza grease, without ANY clue as to how to proceed, and with zero desire to community build and market said music.

STALLIONS are currently working on the basis that great music will win out in the end.. 

Mike and Nialls whereabouts are currently unknown!
