I’ve always been - a silent flame,
Burning through nights no one could name.
A shadow walking every street,
No one asked why - no one would meet.


I dream of being gone one day,
No trace, no path, just fade away.
Not a goodbye, not a farewell,
Just silence loud enough to tell.


And maybe someone, someday will see
A light, a sound, and think of me.
And whisper softly in the air,
"Where is he now? Why’s he not there?"


It’s not that I want to be missed,
Just tired of always… always exist.
Let absence echo in the room,
Like scent of flowers out of bloom.

Jamal Zohourian was born in 1968. He started learning music in 1988. He learned classical Guitar from B.Mirkhani and also learned Music Theory, Harmony, Solfa, Counterpoint from Mehran Rohani and Farhad Fakhreddini.  He has composed many pieces for Classical Guitar, Guitar and Orchestra and has also taught music since 1993.
