Subtle organic layers amble through a forest of percussive saplings that sit beneath a towering beat and subterranean groove. The day after he finished it and sent it to Hernan Cattaneo, he played it the weekend after. The weekend after that he played it in his legendary Woodstock show in Holland and the buzz was created. Vietnamese producer B.A.X. has found a solid home on Manual Deep, the sublabel of the Dutch Manual Music company which got launched last year. After 'Moongazer' and 'Solitude' 'Nightingale' will be his third solo release on the imprint.

'Nightingale' is an emotion filled deep and dreamy piece, full of musicality with beautiful usage of the piano and strings. It makes you ponder about past memories, makes you drown in lovely melancholy.

B.A.X. - Nightingale [MANUAL DEEP 012]

'Galestian debuts on Manual Music after his successful releases on Perfecto, Perspectives and Click Records to name a few. L'Amour is a sensual yet intense track that borders between the melodic, progressive and deep house genres. Next to the beautiful original it comes in remix versions by a couple of infamous Dutch producers: Alex O'Rion and Formel.

Alex O'Rion can't do wrong at the moment with one release after another hitting the charts and labels lining up to work with him. He adds his trademark dosage of groove and warmth, giving Galestian's original a lovely original interpretation.

The Formel guys are known for their releases on labels such as Last Night On Earth, Sincopat and Einmusika amongst others. They provide a more rough and peak time melodic approach which will make this release appealing to an even wider audience.

Three versions of L'Amour, all different but with one thing in common: pure quality!'

Apostolis Loussis aka Plecta was born in 1986 and he lives in Athens.
He has been involved with music since his childhood. At the young age
of ten, he began his education in music with the guitar, but his passion
slowly began to steer towards electronic music and the desire to
compose such music.He is influenced by a huge range of sound
colours throughout the electronic music scene. Completely self taught,
over the years, his music creations increased even more. Doing
composing, he realised Deep House music as organic , dreamy,
melodic sounds were his spirit of energy and passion became the
“signature” of Plecta’s musical compositions. His passion continues to
drive him and be the main force behind his music. At the past, he has
made several releases to other types of electronic music such as
Techno, Minimal and more. However, the Deep House music is the one
that eventually drew his attention. Inspired by new music ideas, his
journey begins, giving a natural and electronic sound at his music
creations and pushing his limits a step further.

Jochem is known as one of the driving forces behind Holland's number one electronic music radio show 'The Boom Room' on SLAM and his very own EXOPLANETS program.

'Tinkertoy' is ideal for these strange times where the dance floors are often replaced by events where you need to be seated in order to enjoy the music we all love so much. So pull up a chair and wiggle your behinds to this latest Manual Deep jam!

Carlita is a talented classical musician and multi-instrumentalist with a penchant for electronic experimentation and sonic ethnography. Mixing the digital with the analogue, the classic with the contemporary, Carlita ensures music made of surprise and craft. A mainstay of the New York City based Bespoke collective, she draws influence from Turkish Psychedelia to classic Rock n’ Roll to eclectic world sounds to field recordings, resulting in a sonic kaleidoscope of culture and experience. This approach shines on the latest release from Carlita, a guitar driven journey into both past and future, alongside a talented international trio of remixers.

Carlita’s Electric Highway Ep bookends itself with its two original productions. First, the Ep’s eponymous track is a steady, driving piece of guitar infused psychedelia. It is a perfect representation of Carlita’s approach as a producer and performer with her love for electric riffs shining through. Wrapping things up is the peak time Movimiento. Featuring Carlita’s own vocals, Movimiento sends the EP’s electricity into overdrive to destinations of community and togetherness - where we once again converge on international dancefloors. On remix duties, a trio of talented artists offer their interpretations of Electric Highway. First off, Italo-Mexican producer Concret strips things down, interjecting a timely speech from James Baldwin into an activist interpretation perfect for our uncertain times. Then, New York’s Wild Dark punch up the low end with a journey into bliss all their own. Finally, Tel Aviv’s Jenia Tarsol twists, turns, and distorts Electric Highway as only a seminal master of musical experience like him can. 

With Electric Highway Ep, Carlita adds a new dimension to her relationship with The Gardens of Babylon. She has literally traveled the world with them, sharing stages with the likes of Red Axes in New York to the golden sand beaches of Epizode Festival Vietnam. Now, with Electric Highway Ep, she joins the likes of Geju and Jacob Groening as part of its record label family.

Some time later, Ramiro began to delight in artists of electronic music. Names like Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge and Nick Warren were his main influences in this area. Which generated that in 2019, Ramiro began his career in the world of music production.
