Evolution Orange is a Alternative Soul / R&B / Pop  band hailing from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area creating their own dynamic , high energy Soulful sound.  Stephen Blaze - Drummer from Philly brought together Powerful Singer/songwriters  Wes Glover  and Rhashawn Sumlin both from D.C. to front  Evolution Orange . Joined by veteran musicians Doug Forsythe from Hawaii on Gutiar , Percussionist  James "Jumbe" Gilliam from Philly  and Kevin Carter  from D.C. on Bass . The Bands first three song EP is set to release in August of 2015 featuring the song " Brown's Town " a tribute to Micheal Brown and all the victims of Police brutality and their families ." EVO Blues" a great hand dance favorite  and  "Love Song " a hipnotic groove that will keep you pressing replay , followed by a full CD in October of 2015 . Roderick Allen is an American music composer, producer, arranger, songwriter, & instrumental recording artist currently residing in Durham, North Carolina. Although a versatile musician, he has a strong preference for the urban-contemporary characteristics of smooth jazz. His debut album entitled ELEVATION MUSIC is a production of tranquil smooth jazz keyboards and sultry up-tempo grooves featuring award-winning saxophonists Marcus Anderson & Eric Marienthal. The album was released on Oct 9th 2015 and just four days later, it became the #1-selling smooth jazz album on Amazon.com. Since then, it has been the focus of numerous smooth jazz podcasts, radios programs, & written articles throughout the U.S. and overseas. 
Also featured on the album is sensational jazz pianist Bob Baldwin and a host of other very talented instrumentalists including Quamon Fowler (saxophone), Richard Boulger (trumpet), Russ Corvey (guitar), Ashley “Aluv” Doe (electric bass), & powerful singer/ songwriter Stanley Thompson.
