I'm Becca James, a London-based spiritual alt-pop artist from Northern England. My lead single & title track, 'God in Chains' from my debut album is set for release on the new moon on Jan 29th 2025 through YR Records. The song delves into trauma healing & the societal and personal barriers that separate us from our divine selves.

I’ve aligned my releases with astrological cycles since late 2023, beginning with my debut EP, Trust The Season, which garnered BBC Introducing playlisting in the North East & a spot on Spotify's 'alternative future' editorial playlist. My collaborative track, 'Can't Stop My Shine,' with US-based Soulplusmind featured in Netflix’s Wellmania.

 In 2024 I headlined a sold-out show at The Globe in Newcastle for International Women’s Day, completed mini-tours & performed at events like New Music Monday at The Ned London & Camden Chapel. 

My first show of 2025 is on Feb 15th at The Hobo Club in Lougton.  I can't wait for more live shows across the year to meet you <3
