Expedition for Horn and Piano is a piece that I wrote for my brother, Michael Owens. This piece is personalized specifically for Michael and it depicts a story of overcoming adversity and all of the anxiety and stress that comes along with it. I was fortunate enough for Michael to put this piece in his senior recital from the University of Texas at Arlington. Thank you so much for performing this piece with so much attention and care, and thank you even more for being a great friend. I don't know where I'd be without you, Michael.
