Ein Twinturbo ist ein Motoraufladesystem, das zwei Turbolader nutzt, um die Leistung eines Verbrennungsmotors zu erhöhen. Dabei wird die Energie der Abgase genutzt, um zwei Turbolader anzutreiben, die mehr Luft in den Motor pressen. Dies ermöglicht eine effizientere Verbrennung, was zu mehr Leistung führt. Die Turbos können entweder parallel arbeiten, um beide Zylinderbänke gleichzeitig zu versorgen, oder sequentiell, wobei ein kleinerer Turbo bei niedrigen Drehzahlen arbeitet und ein größerer bei höheren Drehzahlen dazukommt.
