Jacinta was born on 26th February a dynamic singer based in Uganda specializing in Afro- 
Fusion, Soul, and Reggae, RnB and gospel music.
Jacinta started singing at an early age in Nakawa Baptist Children’s choir as a sponsored 
child under Compassion International where she nurtured her talent until she finished 
university. Jacinta starts performing as a background vocalist for artistes like Tshila, Juliana Kanyomozi, 
Aziz Azion, Rachel Magoola, Lillian Mbabazi, and Maurice Kirya from Uganda and JahCoustix from Germany. 
In 2009 she joined Code 9 band and has since then worked with several bands like Band Aroma, The Sundowners, Janzi Band. Currently she has her own band called “Jacinta and Friends” soon rebranding to AFRO SONIC BANG
In 2015 she recorded and released her first maiden single “Osobola” and has since then released quite a number such as Guba Mutima, something amazing featuring THE MITH, Malayika, and a hymn cover "Ompise mukama"  which you can find on youtube and soundcloud - Jacinta UG. Some more music will be released soon ranging from gospel singles and collaborations and much more
Jacinta has worked with ketebul and singing wells, an organisation that records and archives/ cultural music in different countries. She travelled with them to different parts of Uganda to look for/record and archive the cultural music which would soon be extinct. She has also travelled within africa to countries like Nigeria, kenya and rwanda with different
