I've been writing and singing my own songs all my life. I don't have a genre, just songs that I think would suit a wide variety of artists. I am more interested in writing a great song for a great performer rather than being in the spotlight myself. My songs are mostly guitar based but I can bang six fingers down on a keyboard from time to time.

The Younglings are a four piece indie rock outfit.The band consists of lead singer Julian Lamadrid, drummer Max Mason, lead guitarist Brendan Buckley and bassist Harrison Wilde.
They first began performing out of the school JESS Ranches when they were 14/15 years of age and from there stepped up from performing covers to writing original songs.
In 2013, the group played their first gig outside of school at DOSC, after that a succession of other performances followed including opening for Juliana Down (another local band) at the Fridge.
They have gone on to win three UAE Battle of the Bands and are currently in the process of releasing their first EP.
The band has a range of influences, from indie to progressive death metal to post rock which helps to give them their signature indie/punk sound.
Inspiration has come from many places including Between the Buried and Me, LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, Kanye West and Deafheaven.
Unlike many bands the writing isn't done by an individual, each member has their say and the collective input stops the band from falling into the generic clichés of modern music.
The Younglings are extremely passionate about what they do and strive to create great music that hopefully pushes the boundaries set in place by the mainstream.
