A beautiful sad work... it really unfolds towards the end.

nice changeups with the melodies, instrumentation and stereo delay! Feedback would be to do more of this to add more elements in the stereo image such as supporting melodies, harmonies, or sound effects. :)

It's a pretty song.  And varied.  And cool sounds.  For some reason it doesn't grip me though.  The song writing seems to be lacking something that I can't put my finger on.  Perhaps a bit random.

Lots of (good) things going on in here... A bit more cohesion would help it but still it has this joyful, playful feeling despite its overall melancholic tone.

It has some really beautiful parts but then also a few parts where the sound design isn't working for me personally.

I had a Bossa Nova style in mind, but then it just became a mesh of jazz, military, oriental, and rock-like styles. As the title suggests, this entry is dedicated to synth pioneer Dave Smith, who passed away on May 31 at the age of 72.
