Doctor Who - Fallout Who Vegas Theme

This is a theme concept I've been working on recently, for a longer titles sequence for DOCTOR WHO. I was picturing something akin to the opening titles of HBO's HIS DARK MATERIALS, a journey through the story and images you see throughout the series. Something similar could be really fun for Who, taking you across the universe and back again in just 90 seconds!

The throwback '70s logo and Ncuti Gatwa's retro wardrobe inspired me to look to the Jon Pertwee/Tom Baker theme for inspiration; the synth parts draw on that rendition, with the distorted melody, detuned pitch, and looping "wail" at the end. 

On top of that, I added a Murray Gold-style orchestral accompaniment, drawing on his arrangements from 2005-17, but also adding a few flourishes of my own!

DOCTOR WHO Series 14 - Theme Concept

Rack Unit is the soundtrack to a conceptual video game about puzzles with classic and modern computer equipment ranging from 80's mainframes to datacenters all while serving an emergent super AI.

Although the video game itself never made the cut, these tracks still live to inspire the modern problem solver with upbeat and catchy electronic themes. Inspired by datacenters, computer labs, factory lines and robotics.

Doctor Who Intro Theme

Here is my 2nd attempt at the 12th Doctor's opening theme. The last one was a bit of mess mix-wise. I also toned down the Theremin in this version as in the original, it was a bit too much I think. I also changed and added some stuff here and there. Hopefully it sounds good.

DOCTOR WHO / TXA / 2018

This is a recreation of the most recent arrangement of the Doctor Who Theme, created by series composer Segun Akinola.

I've tried to mix the Opening Credits, Closing Credits, and Extended Credits variations together to form one "full" mix. Also, I've included a version of the original eight-bar bassline intro, inspired by a fan-edit created by YouTuber Aaron S. I've played around with the levels for the bassline and drums from Akinola's original, so that the main melodies are more bass-heavy, while the middle-eight is more drum-heavy like the TV version.
