We are pleased to release the first track off the new Record "The Story of You". This work marks the beginning of a new chapter for Satsang. A bigger sound, with bigger hearts, and a bigger band. We were blessed enough to make this record in the seclusion of the Beartooth Mountains, which is what I call home. It has been a beautiful journey, and we are so exited to share it with you. We were blessed enough to have my 9 year old step-daughter Chloe sing on the end of the song. She was present the evening it was written and inspired multiple facets of the song, so we thought it fitting that she sing it with us. 
Through the stages, changes, and growing pains. Inevitably and without skipping a beat.... Life Goes On

Enjoy this early-release premiere of Satsang's third album "Kulture" due out Friday, March 22nd. The album features eleven new songs that display the band’s diversity and depth and a continued evolution of their sound. Lead singer / songwriter Drew McManus emerges as a pacesetter and a leader in the conscious music movement through the support of his peers. In this record he channels the lessons of the great leaders and inspirations who came before; Nina, Hampton, Malcolm, and King. Says McManus, “I was drawn to revisit all of their work and lessons over the last year or two in writing this record.” However, the foundation of Drew's development is heard in the first voice on the record; that of his high-school art teacher who first gave direction to McManus' artistic nature. Those lessons culminate in Kulture and shine as inspiration for the listener.

This song was created by me and my good friends Dirtwire. The idea came to us to do a song together because we were about to go out on a major tour together and thought it would be fun to do a collaboration. The song is really about strength and power in unity. During these crazy divisive times, it's important for us to remember that we are all in this together and that no progress will be made unless we move forward as one people. We hope this song inspires unity amongst listeners.
