I started this journey of DJing, raving, producing, partying, remixing and traveling over nearly twenty years ago. Released on loads of labels like LOT49, U&A, Global Underground, Plastic Raygun, U&A, I've been fortunate to be able travel all around the globe playing beats, breaks and techfunk. Raved it up in USA, Australia, China, all around Europe, Russia, Ukraine and more. From Sheffield to San Francisco, Budapest to Berlin, Melbourne to Manchester, I've been all over the place. I even got to smash up Fabric a few times...Rave safe people.

Michael Brennan, aka Mikey Beats is a Beatboxer from the City of Lincoln UK who has competed in the UK Beatbox championships for six years. He has performed at various Club events and Festivals up and down the country including Alchemy Festival,Eqinox festival, and Illusive festival. He has also performed at venues such as the O2 academy Islington,Brixton Jamm, Clapham Grand and The Battersea Arts Center London. He has supported many inspirational artists such as – Congo Natty,DJ Format & Abdominal,The Skints,Zion Train,Ed Solo Dave the Drummer,Dub Pistols,Serial Killaz & MC Xander along with many other talented musicians.

Known in the Beatbox scene and Beatboxing for over ten years Mikey Beats has developed and strengthened his performance being inspired by artists such as Faith SFX,Reeps One, Beardyman,Dub FX and DR Badfunk. He has followed his passion being able to adapt and learn different techniques.

Mikey has also teamed up with Noise academy where he delivers beatbox workshops for students who struggle to engage in school teaching an hour masterclass in all things beatbox.

Mikey Beats found his inspiration from exploring music up and down the country and abroad by going to various Festivals & Raves following his passion for Electronic music along with having the chance to watch and meet some of the most phenomenal Beatboxers/Loopers the world has to offer.

From Hiphop to Drum & bass to Techno, he aims to deliver a unique bass - heavy underground set that's pleasing to the ears.
