Here's my set rerecorded from my Easter Sunday set at billboards the venue. A blend of old tracks from artists that have had a lot of influences on me. The approach to this mix took a very dub and selector-focused style of mixing, with lots of dub delays, echo, tape delays, and mangled samples with a shit ton of FX to create interesting transitions!

Here is my downtempo journey curated for the Chill Island at Esoteric 2022, where I was given the privilege of playing a rarely seen midnight downtempo set! 

Esoteric is one of the first of the bigger festivals to have returned after the severe 2020-2021 restrictions here in Victoria, and super happy to see so many friends celebrating in the same space again - Huge thanks to all involved in bringing these events back to life, and such a pleasure for me to be invited to play a small part in the festivities.

Had a lot of fun putting this together; a mix of big, hypnotic basslines, broken beats, gorgeous guitar licks, funky flutes, familiar riffs, layered loops, cheeky hip hop samples, and of course a good representation of world music and some talented Australian artists.

Just played an incredible set on the Chill Island Stage at Esoteric Festival and it was a true milestone of my year so far! As I enter my 30s, I'm feeling more grounded, inspired and focused than ever before, and despite some unexpected technical issues with my live setup I'm feeling more confident in the process of DJ’ing, even when things don't go exactly as planned. It's amazing to see how much I've grown as a musician and performer over the years, and I'm grateful for every opportunity to share my art and celebrate music with the world. Here's to many more amazing moments ahead, and to embracing the unexpected twists and turns of the journey!

For this broadcast of my monthly Hour of Kush show I proudly present Hibernation. All the music is by Hibernation + a Hibernation remix of Gnomes of Kush.

Hibernation is a project by Seb Taylor. Seb Taylor really needs no introduction. The mastermind behind such projects as Shakta, Kaya Project, Digitalis and many more…Mr. Seb Taylor has been a driving force in underground electronic dance music for over 2 decades.

Gnomes of Kush has also delivered to Section Records a new full length album titled ‘Honey’. Another fine treat that is once again packed full of luscious chill out beats and dub vibrations. "I was only one time at Almalomb. 
Last Summer, after a week long under the harsh conditions of Ozora Festival, arriving at Almalomb seemed like finding an oasis. I felt an immediate connection with the space, the vibe and the food. Calm, it was all so calm, everything in its place, the mill, the house inside. 
The invitation came from my brother in Pècs, Marton Bodo, local music hero and partner to many adventures and for some hours we shared our musical passion with Alamlomb. Then rain came and we had to stop, so I kinda felt there was a part missing and that's how I came to to this podcast. And last but not the least, the wonderful hosting of Judit made everything come together!
