The Decent Souls - from Motherwell, an area in Lanarkshire Scotland that once boomed with world trade due to the incredible demand for the strong steel it once mass produced, until Thatcher wielded the sword, thankfully some of this solid steel lives on and plays its part as the backbone of “the decent souls”, our band had been jamming and gigging for the best part of 5 years , a lengthy past list of venues in and around Glasgow had allowed us to grace there stages and to cram the sound desks and pa systems with our indie rock and electronic dance sounds allowing us to hammer the music circuit
The songs are written by the bands lead guitarist Stephen ‘Teebie’ Langford, Teebie has put together a string of tunes ranging from acoustic tracks such as ‘The Weather’, ‘Look at the Pain’, ‘Do You Recall’ and the melodically structured stunning ‘Epidemic’ which consists of 7 minutes of rhythmic bliss and lyrics that remind us why the song was written, then the guitars are crashing on to rocky numbers such as ‘Keep on Walking’ ,‘Remember The Time’ and ‘King of the Throne‘ then on to the epic ‘Site for Sore Eyes’, ‘Go’ ‘Can You Feel It‘ and the short but sweet ‘No Number’.
The other band members are not just here to make up the numbers, 
David Goodfellow aka Goody - the lead vocalist provides the band with a front man who’s voice carry’s the well-structured music harmoniously to the ears of the audience, with his own very unique sound although feedback tells us his voice echo’s that of a certain bobby Gillespie from time to time.
Ross Robison the bass guitarist supplies the bass beats in the bar, can be heard with his intelligent melodic structures just pinging through the set.
Michael Mullen or “Drumstick Mick” as the locals like to call him, is our drummer, Mick bashes the drums like there’s no tomorrow and can often be seen whirling around on his stool like a Tasmanian devil on steroids, cutting his way through a set of sticks per song.
Andrew Holiwel aka Chippy – great guitar player this boy is and was in the band for a fair bit of the bands existence, Listen to Just Jive and King of the Throne to appreciate how good Chippy is. 
Mr Christopher Rodgers had a brief spell in the original decent souls and is definitely worth mentioning here as he had real good potential.
David“Macka”leenan - the most charismatic person you could ever meet what a work ethic and desire this boy had to make the band succeed.
The web designing imaginative innovator we had was 
Mr Colin “timotei” Murdoch – the smoothest hair in the game ;) when you design websites like this guy there’s no looking back and sneaky videos for the tinterwebs you would be in without any knowledge was frightening ,,,,, 
Mr Robbie Brennan who we can’t forget to mention as one of the very originals – one of the true founders who helped form the band as a manager/legend who came up with very first ideas from the OLD Mill Hotel Gig to the Renfrew ferry and back again– talk about total commitment this is your guy. 
Mr Ian Patton also need to mention - AKA the sound guy from Motherwell's own Starka Bar who also took on the task for a brief spell (in-between sound checks) of helping the band fulfil their potential.
These lads had the energy and efficiency to become one of Scotland’s shining lights and also put Motherwell and Lanarkshire on the map and back in the British music scene.
To the many fans who came - it was a ball and to the gentlemen above what a time we had - Enjoy the tracks once again - stay safe.......until me meet again -which maybe be sooner than you think ;)T.D.S
