Multi award-winning Parisian pianist, composer and producer Benoit Delbecq figures among the prominent innovators of the international contemporary jazz scene who have build their own singular language in music. Trost is an independent record label based in Vienna, Austria. Started as a tape-label in the early 90s, releasing basically local acts - mainly indie/noise/avantrock. later doing distribution and 2001 started a recordstore (www.substance-store.com). In 2011 Trost started to work with German Free Jazz legend Peter Brötzmann. Subsequently released many projects old and new by Brötzmann, Gustafsson, Vandermark, etc.
