Music Since87.

A globally respected and highly accomplished artist, label boss at the seminal Hot Creations, founder and curator of the worldwide Paradise event series and member of cross-genre band Hot Natured, Jamie Jones has achieved iconic status in the electronic music world. A trendsetter and seasoned tastemaker, the Welsh dance music superstar pioneered his own distinct sound, drawing on his deep knowledge and experience to cultivate DJ sets that weave through a range of diverse, complementary styles selected to energise and enchant the dance floor.

The Fabulous Davitons were a 1980's San Francisco experimental music project.  Mostly they created lo-fi recordings for their own artistic purposes, but they did also perform live 3 times.  

The project was conceived by Phil Bewley, a graduate of the Electronic Music program at San Francisco State University, and had various incarnations over a 5 year period from 1983-1988.  

The completely improvised audio creations feature dual 4-track tape loops, circuit-bended Casio electronic keyboards, acoustic violin and cello, flute, hand percussion, spoken word, tape samples of found audio, electric guitar and synthesizer. 

The band name is 'found', it was actually the name of a local San Francisco family owned Dry Cleaner with a marine fetish. (a Daviton is some kind of sailor, apparently) 

Releasing his first mix-tape in June 2012 entitled “Stoner Sorties” following the success of his first youtube freestyle by ToxicTV gaining over 17k views.

Now Dixie has now accumulated over 72,500k in views. His current project entitled “Hennessy, Haze & Hard Days” is a true reflection of life in the borough of Tower Hamlets where the rich get rich and the poor go hungry.
