PLUMHALL are Michelle Plum and Nick B Hall, an electrifying Yorkshire based duo whose award winning self-penned songs are winning them plaudits from the likes of R2 Magazine (4 stars), Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff), Steve Knightley (Show of Hands) and many more. The pair deliver guitar and harmony driven textures of original alt folk and pop, and have have been wowing audiences on the live acoustic circuit in the UK. PLUMHALL have been joined on stage by Bob Dylan's legendary guitarist Larry Campbell for a performance of Senor (Tales of Yankee Power) at the BBC Radio 2 award winning folk club The Black Swan in York. They were also invited to the London Palladium in 2017 to perform with Al Stewart. 

PLUMHALL's debut album "Thundercloud" was voted one of The Guardian and Observer's Hidden Gems. Their new 2020 album "The Ghost Of Noise", released during lockdown, has attracted critical acclaim. Nick and Michelle have also written a song for and appeared in the 2020 international film release "The Runaways", starring Molly Windsor, Mark Addy and Tara Fitzgerald.

A cabinetmaker by trade.  I have been recording birds for over 42 years.  Even as a seven year old I loved to hear the sound of birds. 
I believe that birdsong is a perfect reflection of the natural environment and yet a part of the experience of the environment.  
Over the years I have made some wildlife films and videos.  For wildlife recording I have been around Ireland, Wales, Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Belize, Guyana, Brazil, Peru and Costa Rica. At the moment I have 26 albums of birdsong/nature, most of which can be found here for free download in high quality F.L.A.C. format.
