This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-e, featuring my mix in the 1st hr of music made by women and then, for the 2nd hr, I hand the decks over to a female DJ.

Helping me Draw The Line this week it's Roungtawan who is originally from Thailand and is now based in Belgium. After beginning her DJ career in Bangkok in Thailand she came in Belgium in 2002 and after a break from music for a few years, she returned to DJ-ing in 2014. Her style is fresh and punchy tech house and techno. She also produces her own tracks with releases on Geometrik, BlackBeard Records and Technosforza and she is also a very skilled photographer.

In my mix in the first hour some of the tracks are from the female:pressure Various Artists album “Self Love Songs” which is raising money for Women for Women International, a humanitarian organisation that provides aid to women affected by wartime sexual violence.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
Jacki-E & P-Mac write and publish their own original tracks and re-mixes, play DJ sets in clubs, at private parties and for radio shows and podcasts .
