Helping me Draw the Line with her guest mix in the second hour it’s Marisol Garcia a DJ / Ptoducer from the Canary Islands. She studied at the Conservatory of Music in Grand Canaria and is also a professional singer and bassist. She leads the collective Pulsar Events which has promoted 40 parties in its first 2 years. These events are rooted in the 90s ideals of love, freedom and tolerance, with respect for nature and environmental sustainabilty. Her first two releases came out this year on Black Vogue and Grey Shadow Records.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
