Since starting Dj'ing in 1994 Keynos has seen a fair few make-overs,
name variations and changes in genre. Nether the less his energetic
personality, flawless ear for quality music and individual mixing
style has earned him residencies at some prestigious UK and
International Nights such as "Bring The Noise",Garage Nation""Sun
City","Cream",Garage Flava",Tickleicious" and "Pure Platinum" to name
but a few. Having started out playing Drum and Bass at the age of 13
he soon realised that the UK Garage scene was where he was supposed to
be. Playing alongside all the major names in garage around the world
till around 2004, where his tendency to lean towards a more 4x4 based
sound was gradually pushing him into the niche scene. With the
explosion of "Northernline Records" onto the market Keynos found
himself producing for the label  alongside Sticky and Paleface as well
as on solo projects landing himself some BBC 1xtra chart success.
Since the end of 2008 Keynos was unhappy with the way the bassline
scene was moving and fed up with the attitude and mindset of the
people involved he took a step back and began producing and performing
a small sub genre of bass driven house. With only a handful of
people making and pioneering this sound he had found himself a blank
canvas on which to make his mark and has seen massive progress in the
scene since. With his monthly Podcasts on i-Tunes receiving over
100,000+ downloads, it is only a matter of time before there will be no
avoiding this new sound.
