My latest remix is of @amelieswann's track 'Problems'. The original song was filled with so much emotion, but I heard a dance floor banger somewhere in there, and so I did my best to bring that vision to life!

Local music/piano teacher and mother of 2, Rachel Mayer, always wanted to release her own original pop songs. During the pandemic, she finally took to putting some of those concepts down and released a handful of poppy singles. A few years later, and Rachel has become a frequent shopper at the local grocery co-op that I work at. I saw an ad for her 'latest single' on the back of her car, checked it out on one of my walks home from work, and liked what I heard, so I reached out to her about the idea of me doing a remix for her track 'Dragonfly'. She was very supportive and enthusiastic towards the idea, and so I got busy. Something about her vocal style, or perhaps the nature of her voice, reminded me of classic 90's house tracks my oldest brother and Mom used to play when I was growing up, and so I did my best to capture that vibe for my remix.
