2013 has been a huge year for Satin Jackets, one of Germany’s most notable indie dance protagonists.

Satin Jackets and Sydney based singer KLP have joined forces on this one. They met in Berlin and performed together at Oval Space in London, this first collaboration was their logical next step. ‘For Days’ has that lush production that has characterized Satin Jackets for quite some time now. Exquisite harmonies combined with the dreamy vocals from KLP define this cutting edge indie dance gem that has masterful melodies and stripped-back ambience throughout. The release is topped off by the laid back slo-mo vintage burner ‘Night Keys’ to put you into that late-night cruising mood.

Following the very well-received ‘You Make Me Feel Good’ and ‘Olivia’ (taken from The Pink Collection), ‘For Days’ marks the third Satin Jackets release on Eskimo this year.

Taken from Satin Jackets' hotly anticipated third album, 'Move On' sees Tim lay down yet more blissful washes of sound that, combined with the kind of synths that could soundtrack a tearful moment in any classic 80s film, provide the ideal backdrop for Panama's wistful vocals.

"When Tim sent me this really vibey instrumental it just tweaked something in my mind, and got me thinking about all the people 'moving on' with their lives post pandemic," explains Panama. "I'm really happy with how Tim approached what I gave him, which was originally quite raw, and from that initial spark grow it into something that perfectly captures the vibe, both melancholic but with an ultimately uplifting feel."

Satin Jackets' third album, the follow-up to 'Panorama Pacifico' and 'Solar Nights', will be out August 26th, 2022.

Louis La Roche returns with ‘All I Had’, the first single to be taken from his stunning new album, ‘Sleepless Nights’.

All I Had is a dark, infectious, Nu Disco stomper. With a hypnotic bassline, detuned synths and haunting vocals, the track combines new and 80’s nostalgic sounds. It’s unmistakably a Louis La Roche song, euphoric yet melancholic. Recorded and Produced by Brett Ewels, the track perfectly showcases Ewels’ undeniable song-writing prowess and flair for a hook.

His hugely anticipated new album, ‘Sleepless Nights’ retains the funky, rich, catchy songwriting of its predecessor ‘To Rest Is To Rust’, but pushes Louis’ unique sound in exciting new directions. Lyrically, too, it’s a darker tone. “If the first album was about romance, break-ups and relationships” Brett explains, “This album is it’s dark successor. My vocals are more manipulated, basslines are more aggressive and everything is so much more atmospheric, almost cinematic”

‘Mirage’ is the new single from German producer Tim Bernhardt, aka Satin Jackets. Released this November on Eskimo Recordings, ‘Mirage’ continues Bernhardt’s winning streak that has made him one of the hottest nu-disco/house producers around, clocking up more than 20 million plays on Spotify alone in the past few years.
 
Following on from this summer’s Nordic themed hit ‘Northern Lights’, Bernhardt has once again looked to Scandinavia for inspiration. “I think this might be the hookiest track I have made so far,” explains Bernhardt. “But then you start looking for the best possible topline which, of course, can be like searching for the Holy Grail, but on a trip to Stockholm at last it all came together. BOOM! You can definitely hear the strong Swedish pop influence in it. I can’t wait to see how people will react to it.”
 
Built upon a gentle bed of bubbling synths, delicate guitar licks and laidback beats ‘Mirage’ is classic Satin Jackets, the song’s beautiful melodies the perfect setting for the bittersweet lovelorn lyrics that tell of a moment of self-realisation at the end of a relationship. It’s fair to say that heartbreak has rarely sounded so good.
