For over a decade, Washington, D.C. based artist Baby Weight’s signature genre bending sound, dynamic DJ sets, and outspoken advocacy has stunned dancefloors earning co-signs from artists like Fatboy Slim, Walker & Royce, LP Giobbi, Justin Martin, Chris Lorenzo, Nicole Moudaber, and VNSSA among others.

Called “resolutely anti-bullshit and pro fun” by Mixmag, Baby Weight has performed at some of the world’s most notable festivals including Coachella, SXSW, and EDC with releases on labels such as Insomniac Records, He.She.They, Southern Fried, D4D4NCE, Dome of Doom, and Street Tracks.
In 2020, she came out as trans citing a need to transition in her private life and as an artist. Later that year, she would have her first #1 on Beatport with ‘Rave Police.’

2022 was a breakout year with multiple high profile releases including ‘House Princess' which was featured in Calvin Klein’s Pride campaign. In 2023, she was named by DJ Mag and The Blessed Madonna as an “artist to watch” leading to a nomination for “Breakthrough DJ of the Year.” This momentum continued with ‘Slay 4 Me' garnering heavy support from BBC Radio 1, Defected, and Ministry of Sound. In 2024, her releases 'Inner Voice' and ‘For U' broke new ground for her sonically culminating with a buzzworthy performance at Coachella.

Barry Harris was the first club DJ in the world to write, produce and perform a Worldwide Top 5 hit; “I Beg Your Pardon” by an act he named Kon Kan.

“I Beg Your Pardon”, became an international Top 5 hit around the world, garnering a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for Best Dance Recording in 1990.

In 1998 Barry relocated to Los Angeles to mastermind the remix team Thunderpuss producing more than 40 #1 Billboard Dance remixes including hits for major label recording artists Madonna, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion & Donna Summer to name a few.

Barry is best known for Whitney Houston’s Top 5 global hit, “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” which remains in steady rotation today as well as "Dive In The Pool (Let's Get Soakin' Wet).

Terry Martin’s been at the cutting edge of DJ Culture since he began spinning records at the Marlin Beach Hotel in 1978. Playing Disco, Punk, and New Wave, it was not uncommon to hear Donna Summer, Sylvester, Blondie, and The Clash in one seamless mix.

In 1985 Martin was DJ at the legendary Medusa's in Chicago where he launched the city’s first teen dance and gained a massive following. There he broke artists such as Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Front 242, and helped a then teenage Mark Farina get his start as a DJ.

Terry landed at Foxy’s in 1992 where he launched a weekly with Derrick Carter and Mark Farina. Although Foxy’s was short lived the club left an indelible mark on Chicago's nightlife scene and the weekly he created (with co owner Tom Hemingway) lived on for many years.

After promoting a slew of underground events, including Submerge where he gave James Curd of Greenskeepers fame his first big break, Terry moved his Carter and Farina weekly to the Smart Bar in 1995. PUMP became a huge success showcasing some of House music’s most influential artists including DJ Sneak, Roy Davis Jr., Cajmere, Ron Trent, Chez Demier, Joshua IZ, Diz, and Miles Maeda.

On the heels of Pump's success, and with the support of owner Joe Shanahan, Martin began a second night at the Smartbar called The Lovedrop Discotheque, and went on to promote a slew of successful concert events at the The Metro including; Deee-Lite, The Orb, Orbitial, Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers, and Goldie's first ever Chicago DJ appearance at Smart Bar on New Years Eve 1996.

Later that year Terry relocated to San Francisco where he landed a position as National Street Marketing Coordinator for OM Records. Soon after he and OM President Chris Smith created a weekly called Sound Design at the Justice League, and it too became a huge success booking talent such as Mark Farina, Andy Caldwell, Stacey Pullen, and Carl Craig to name a few.

In 1998 Martin decided to take a break from club scene and launched a national street-level marketing company called Ground Control, which he's been running for the past decade; and in 2008 he took over the reigns as National Street Marketing Manager for Giant Step Marketing in New York City.

Today, Terry's enjoying the view from his Mission Street office and is excited about the interest his mixes are generating. He's looking forward to making some of his original "Medusa" mixes available, as well as creating some new mixes too. There's even talk of a new entertainment and artist management company in the works. So stay tuned, and as always with Terry Martin, expect the unexpected...
