Written about a Palestinian farmer I met who has had his olive tree fields burned by Israeli settlers in the West Bank. This song speaks of the hope that is kept by all communities that endure injustice of varying forms.

Paula Juana introduces Wrong Way Up's new EP for her first Soho Radio show. 

Born out of a deep love for the dancefloor, Wrong Way Up channels vintage Afro disco and psychedelic boogie to bring a new kind of heat.

Paying homage to Frances Bebey, William Onyeabor and Lijadu Sisters, the Melbourne-based Afro-synth duo delivers energetic melodies, deep grooves and addictive chants. Featuring quirky synthesizers and 1970s drum machines, the EP is a sonic landscape that feels fresh and unique.

Paula Juana of Soundway Records taking us on a triiip to Colombia’s Chocó (along the Pacific Ocean) with a new rhythm she’s working on and introducing: Ritmo Exótico — passing trough some 90’s Champeta, Soukous and Zouk, packed with some new cuts from Road Fever (Soundway May 2025)  part of a new wave of Soca/Carnival producers from Saint Lucia and Dominica.
