Heart Of Surging Flame

The pizzicato opening sets up the tone for the main theme in Eb minor in the viola part. After the lyrical middle section, the pizzicatos return later, from which the theme returns in c# minor in the violin part. It ends on the E chord, which acts as a dominant for the next movement.

String Trio, Second Movement

This piece is about a little more love. A very romantic theme in an Italian mood (I think). Starting as a whisper. A gentle melody floating above it. Like a butterfly. Getting free in the end. Out on the streaming platforms 11 July !
