THE HAUNTED KINGDOM is a roleswap AU centered around a kingdom of monsters trapped underneath a veil of darkness. Hearing legends of this haunted world, a brave human falls down into the kingdom and must brave the challenges ahead of them.

Napstablook takes the role of Asgore. They are the apathetic, lonely ruler of the underworld kingdom, but it wasn’t always like that.
They had high spirits long ago and ruled the kingdom happily with their cousin and former king (who later became Mettaton). After a tragedy involving the royal family’s friends led to a fallout between the cousins, Napstablook was forced to take the throne. Now they’re trying to fulfill the kingdom’s greatest desire: freedom from the land of shadows and revenge on humanity.
Many monsters speak of Napstablook in high regard, but others feel they don’t have it in them to free monsterkind. Considering they rarely, if ever, leave their palace, it’s possible they want to avoid disappointing their people by revealing their true feelings about humanity. Their internal struggle causes them more grief the longer it continues, and the more human SOULs are taken, the more pain they’ll feel at the end result.

FAR FROM HOME is a new Undertale AU. Talking about the KNIGHT, who creates a FOUNTAIN in hometown, affecting everyone in there. KRIS the closed kid wakes up in the middle of the chaos, and tries to find their way out searching for their friends, and their mother. But the FOUNTAIN also affects their friends turning them against KRIS.

So. This is where I give my sappy final goodbyes to this thing. To clarify to anyone who doesn't already know, this has nothing to do with "leaving Undertale" or anything crazy like that. It's just the long-overdue end of this particular project, something which gets me rather emotional.
I just wanna thank everyone who gave me the time of day throughout this process. Whether you loved it or hated it, or were completely ambivalent but supported me anyway...I appreciate all of it. When I made this in 2018 I was a complete nobody, and I viewed the big people in the community as celebrities. But I was treated with so much love and respect, and it made me realize that we're all just normal people who deserve celebration just as much as the next guy. It is because of this project that I am where I am today, for better and for worse. I'm so happy for the friends I've made and the experiences I've had, the connections I've built and the ways that I've grown. Even though I have to put it to sleep, this project will always be my baby, and to each and every one of you reading this I thank you for joining me along for the ride. Toadie and I aren't going anywhere, you can still find us on our respective Soundcloud accounts and @toadiedoesalltheworktbh, along with @refractale and some other stuff. But for this account, it's curtains at last.

Howdy! It's me, Junnboi!

Alright, so, to summarize, the "Monster Forest" (Ruins) motif has been reworked, so consequently, a handful of other songs needed to be updated. By the time you're reading this, these have probably already been posted!

"Why did you change the motif?"

Originally, the motif in question was supposed to be a heavily modified version of the "Determination" motif from Undertale. However, the original version of Monster Forest REALLY didn't make that clear, and so the motif sounds almost original - which isn't a bad thing, but I personally grew to dislike it lol - so I felt compelled to remedy that. I'm happy to say I'm proud of the result, and can't wait for everyone to hear it!

"Will the old versions still be public?"

For the time being, they will be kept up, while I look for some way to archive them (Maybe I'll reupload them to my own alt...?). After enough time has passed, they will be deleted from this account and only the new versions will remain. But don't worry about the old ones, like I said, they WILL be reuploaded... eventually.

"What songs exactly have been updated?"

-Here We Are & Slash of Moonlight

And as a bonus, we will also be uploading some NEW songs that include the Monster Forest motif ;)

That's fine! I know I can't please everyone, we all have different tastes. But please keep that in mind; If these versions were published at all, that means they're perfect to me. And isn't that the point of making an AU soundtrack, other than having fun with it?

Progressing a bit after the hallway will lead you to a path that has been barricaded by… presumably the remaining members of the Canine Unit. In order to proceed, you must tear through time and space once again near the wall, this will lead you to the outside of Frostmarrow Catacombs, a dead spruce forest. There is also some snow lying around… though, it isn’t your usual snow, as it gets reduced to some dust-like substance once stepped on. There are more enemies here that you MUST fight. At the end of this area, you can return to Frostmarrow Catacombs, with the aforementioned glitching method.
