Bio: Tunisian by birth, Sami first got a taste of music, when he got his first complete setup and started to juggle with melodic, organic and tribal sounds. In constant search for new sounds, Sami takes inspiration from the ethnic tunes and instruments, spiritual music and melodic vocals. With every mix, listeners are bound to travel with him on a unique and exotic journey. He enjoys juggling with various genres of underground music, going from dreamy downtempo to ethereal techno.
His mixes were streamed on international radio stations and respected outlets as Ibiza Global Radio (IBZ), Ibiza Sonica Radio (IBZ), Deep House Dubai (DXB), Deep House Barcelona (BCN), Psychedelic Kitty (PAR) and Elysium Collectif (PAR).

The last track in this mix “Love Is In The Air” was not actually a part of this live set, but edited onto the mix by popular demand. The sunrise set is from after the burn on Sunday morning. What’s Up Desert Hearts Family,

​Looking back to 2014 ​when we first learned ​that we​ ​had ​confirmed DJ T. ​to ​headline​ our Desert Hearts Spring Festival,​ we had no idea that cold weekend would be one of the most pivotal moments ​in the early chapters of the Desert Hearts tail. 

At the time the family was still growing and together we were rocked by some of mother natures harshest elements, throughout the weekend, both rain and snow graced the grounds of Apple Valley and lead to a memory we will never forget, which was later dubbed as the infamous Snowy Hearts. 

​Flash forward five years, we knew we had to invite T. back into our new home at Los Coyotes and show him how this family has blossomed into the beautiful collective we all know and love today. 

T. wholeheartedly stands behind our mantra of spreading as much love as humanly possible and we couldn’t have been happier to have had him take the reigns on Sunday afternoon of the festival. With so much history from the mid ‘80s as one of the ​forefronts to Sven Vath’s legendary Omen club in Frankfurt, a creative behind Groove Magazine, and label-head of Get Physical​, it’s truly an honor to have a mogal like Thomas be considered an integral piece in our family.

Hard to fathom that the year is already drawing to a close. As strange as it has all been, I'm left with the feeling that the time has just gently disappeared, without so many of life's usual events and occurrences to register its passage. And yet, the turning of 2019 of course feels a lifetime ago. Ambient music for me has a bit of that timeless quality, a formlessness, an amorphous sinking-in.
