I Love God

John 6:57 & Jeremiah 15:16a

1. Hear the Lord, He’s calling onward;
Heed His Word, His cry is upward.
Each day we climb a little higher;
To carry on we need to take a deeper breath.

2. See the Lord is not far from you;
He will not only bear it with you.
No need to struggle any longer;
He wants to be the very one to take your place.

And there’s nothing that can change that.
He was a supplanter always taking advantage,
And scheming how to get the blessing and birthright.
One night as he slept he had a very special dream from God.
He called the name of that place Bethel, the house of God.

You dear children have been chosen, called by God.
He’s placed you in the right family and in the right birth order.
He’s now faithfully watching over you,
And arranging everything for His plan and purpose.
One day you too will answer God’s call,
And will know His presence in the house of God.
