I wrote this song a week after a gunman opened fire on a crowd of concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the night of Sunday October 1, 2017.

It pisses me off to hear people say "there are no words" and offer their "thoughts and prayers" at times like this. There ARE words. Real words are the first step in actually trying to solve this problem.

The second step is action.

It's time to stop pretending thoughts and prayers are anything more than a lazy copy-and-paste thing to say.

This song was written by me and my pal Michael Starr, who was also with me in my old band Gray Eclipse (see the whole album on Sound Cloud). We go by the name Six Thousand Miles in other places.
